It would be nice to find out who the owner is. I believe it’s the person who has replied in previous reviews , providing an explanation for the higher prices, and explanation for not honoring the rewards card, under the new ownership. I am a native of Roseville, and have lived in El Dorado Hills since 1988. I have relocated many to this area and beyond, with over 30 years of selling real estate. I don’t like negative reviews, so please don’t take this the wrong way. I have called to get in contact with the owner and left messages on three occasions. No one has called me back, ever. I went to get yogurt this evening at 9:05pm, on my way home from a long day at work, and a big shopping spree at Costco. I had looked up the hours of operation on this very same site, not just today, but also two other times. All three times, I have been very disappointed. Today, the female employee was on her cell phone, and when I went up to the door it was locked. There are no hours posted on the door, but on this google site it says close time is 9:45pm on Tuesday. She/employee already had the yogurt machines in the process of being disassembled. I knocked on the door and she waved me away and I heard her say that they were closed. This is just not good business. As mentioned I have been disappointed two other times. One evening, my husband I looked up the hours for Saturday and Google showed they closed at 11pm. We arrived a little after 10pm and he/employee had two of the machines completely disassembled and he was rushing around like he was in a race to shut down. This was a male employee, dark hair. Nice guy, but not focused on good customer service. The other disappointment was that the two flavors I had called about earlier in the day that brought us there that evening were the ones he shut down early. I let him know I was disappointed and brought up that it’s not right for him to be closing down early like this. He dismissed me, not compassionate and not caring. Maybe the owners encourage this early closing to save money? Again, I called to let the owner know, but no one ever called me back. The very first time this happened, I was with my husband. There were two employees and one was mopping, and the other again, was shutting down two of the machines. This was taking place over an hour prior to the posted hours of operation.
Prior to these three unfortunate and very disappointing experiences, I did have yogurt a few times and the yogurt was good. Bringing back the rewards card would be nice, and acknowledging that if you can’t hire employees who can keep the place open and in operation per the posted hours on Google, then, change your hours. It is not ok to shut down the machines early and it is not ok to lock the door prior to the set hours of operation. Friendly customer service and a sense of community for the good of all is important. I had really hoped for a better outcome with this new ownership here at Crazy Yogurt.

My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to the area in 2021 and absolutely love the new ownership. Michael in particular was an absolute angel and left us feeling so connected and inspired! I couldn’t ask for a greater atmosphere. The quality of product has also gone up and although the prices are higher so has the quantity and fresher ingredients so I wholeheartedly recommend this place if you’re craving frozen yogurt or ice cream! :)

As a family member of a formally employee I have first hand knowledge of how disgusting this place truly is and I wanted to share with my community. Unfortunately the new owner wants to report my comment and say my insight is not true but it in fact is. I would know better than anyone how gross this place is because of my relation with a former employee!!!

Changed ownership. Use to be Jon and Bons now it's a chain. Prices are high, single scoop ice cream 4.99, no toppings. Small frozen yogurt 6.19, no topping. Staff was nice. Place is run down but guessing with new ownership and a chain store this place will clean up and spruce up in no time. Likely won't go back. It's not Jon ans Bons and the quality does not match the price. Miss Jon and Bons. And note that if you have a reward card, they no longer take them.

I mean this place is okay. When I go to ice cream shops, I expect the best ice cream. I mean… that’s their thing, why they exist, not $5 for a scoop of tillamook ice cream that I can literally walk to Safeway next door and buy myself. The atmosphere is nice though, and I’m sure the abundance of toppings is nice for those who want it

Roaches everywhere and dust all over the counters. Constantly bugging me about their stupid religion and how I should join god. Bad customer service and bad atmosphere? Bad store in general.

I had a terrible experience. First I saw a cockroach in the toppings. It was disgusting in there nothing was cleaned and you could tell. The owner was rude to the staff and I felt uncomfortable.

Employees were extremely friendly and helpful however the establishment had cockroaches and was in no way up to health and safety code. I expressed my concerns to the owner I never received any response. Do NOT recommend!

This is the absolute best frozen yogurt shop! I love their froyo and customer service. The atmosphere is so peaceful and welcoming and the employees are super nice! I just wish the flavor selection was a little better.
