been coming here steady since 2020 and this is my favorite restaurant. cocktails are so good and they use good alcohol so i usually don’t get hangovers if i have a night drinking with friends here. also the food is great, best brussel sprouts ive had at a restaurant, and the employees are always super professional and have great personalities.

Over all Milestone is a great restaurant. But there are a few things that could use some help. The portions are large and I think they should serve half portions - because you always have to split it with someone. This could be a positive thought for some! They leave the ketchups and sauces out overnight on the table - that is scary because anyone could tamper with them. They should be brought inside. I would not use them. The service is pretty fast. Food is delicious. Seats comfy; restaurant is pretty.

Six of us went here for my mom's 83 birthday. We sat outside and had the bottomless mimosas. Loved the champagne glasses. The two outdoor waiters seemed at odds with each other? Couldn't tell what the issue was. Our waiter was good at the tasks but lacked basic friendless. He just seemed off.Besides that, everything was fantastic. Everyone loved their food. It's definitely worth the money. They don't take reservations, so take that into consideration. Will be back!

Milestone is the best restaurant in El Dorado Hills in my opinion. Everything on the seasonally rotating menu is thoughtfully crafted. This locally owned and managed business makes going out for a meal something special. You can choose from casual fare such as a burger or French Dip or something a bit fancier like duck confit or scallops. The wine menu is fairly extensive. It may sound trite but, my family has never had a 'go to' spot prior to experiencing Milestone...but, we do now. Another aspect I love about going to Milestone is that we always experience service excellence because both staff and management want you to have an enjoyable meal and a good time during your visit. There's a small bar area that opens to the sidewalk in the good weather. One last thing to share; every time our adult daughter visits from Colorado she plans a trip to Milestone.

Two stars off for the server today: curt & impatient with my 85 year old aunt. Didn't appreciate that at all considering we were taking her out for a special occasion. We received terrible service out on the patio, and the salmon we ordered was not prepared as requested; our orders were flipped between my friend & I. I got her well done fish with sauce & she got my pink in the middle salmon with no sauce. Great. Our waiter wouldn't know that however, since he never checked back on us. We ate it anyway, didn't want to wait for him to walk by. We left him a 10% tip but he deserved less. The Hazy beer was served in a tiny glass & overpriced. Liked the extra glass of soda that came alongside the Diet Coke. Nice touch. However, the service made for a disappointing visit today.

Came here with some friends, by far the best dish any of us got was the honey nut risotto, everyone at the table tried and it was universally agreed. The fried green tomatoes were a hit, short rib was just ok. French dip was on of the best, truffle fries were outstanding, the cheese on top was raved about at our table. "French onion pasta was bussin OC" 10/10 can't wait to come back. Service was amazing, friendly friendly man and nice ambiance, made friends in the bathroom. Lovely experience

My girlfriends and I went to dinner at mile stone on Friday. Two of us order a steak and fritas Which is just another way of saying french fries .. for $39 bigger plate of french fries and about 3 ounces of steak if we're lucky.. if the steak have been fabulous, I might not be reviewing such .. way overprice, and the meat was not that tender .. we like the atmosphere. We like the location and we like their happy hour and cocktails that I'll never eat dinner there again. ...

Low cholesterol options are extremely meager. I ordered the strawberry flapjacks. Extremely disappointing. I expected more strawberries and more syrup. It appeared there were two strawberries, extremely thinly sliced, and a drizzle, maximum 2 tablespoons, of syrup for a 3 inch stack of four pancakes. That felt like all I got was a mouthful of dough. I would've been better off going to IHOP.

Really beautiful exterior area with gorgeous view of a large pond and fountain. Inside had nice decor. Plants needed tending, though! I know... who goes to a restaurant and notices dying plants?! lol. But atmosphere does play a big role in my dining experiences, so... We came during happy hour (3pm to 5pm) perused their menu. Lots of great choices. Thought it was nice to be able to order at the table rather than the bar, like a few other places in the area Greeting staff were fun and very friendly. Wait staff were polite enough but truly didn't seem too helpful or engaged, unfortunately. Staff seemed to congregate around bar area instead Unfortunately, most of the food was a disappointing. The exception: French onion soup WAS good, though.... that was a seriously great bowl of French onion soup! I love, love giving them a big thumbs up for that! So many places really fall short on that dish, so it does my heart (and tummy) good when it's done right! The rest? Nu-uh.... Chicken was bland and not very crispy, the vegetables were greasy (see photo) and Mac n cheese were just ok -- nothing memorable. Nope. The food proved to be overpriced for what we got and we left feeling disappointed. I always hesitate to give a negative review, especially when so many others leave glowing reports, You know? However we really didn't have a good experience. We might try again when the weather is better... those happy hour options and outside view were pretty darned appealing . PERHAPS sit out on their patio. appetizers and drinks might be nice with a couple friends. And that French onion soup WAS exceptional. .

Exceptional food and service! Great local restaurants with a small town vibe. Bar is fantastic and bartenders are very friendly. Love the fresh menu items and some classics too.
