They have always been our favorite. Food and service are always the best. My only complaint is the menu. To simplify the menu for the young kid staff, they changed it to a menu for dummies. Now you have to go online to see a full menu. The young are just not as good as they once were.

Terrible service. 6 of us. 3 got food 30 minutes before the other 3. Terrible dinner experience with the family. No management.

I love Sky Sushi. The rolls are unique and great quality. I love their gluten free menu. I like to add lemon to all of my rolls. I highly recommend their Happy Hour.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but for anyone looking for a sushi place in edh, sky sushi is not it… we love Umi sushi up the road but decided to branch out since they are closed on Sunday’s. We won’t be coming back to Sky.Music was loud and vulgar, service was lacking efficiency/speed, the price was way too high for what the rolls had to offer (we ordered 3 rolls and a miso) with small and odd cuts of fish on them and lacking flavor.Basically, don’t go here… go up the road to Umi sushi (unless it’s a Sunday, just eat something else)

Servers are super friendly, food is amazing, definitely my favourite sushi place. Everything is always fresh and tastes so good.

IT WAS A FRIDAY NIGHT AND THEY ONLY HAD 3 SUSHI CHEFS WORKING. I've been to Sky Sushi many times in the past. In recent years, it has been a decent dining experience. but the past few years visiting this restaurant definitely has been a struggle. I continue to come here because the food does taste good but at this point there is no reason to visit this location any longer. The service is subpar. It always starts out good but once the servers become embarrassed, because the food hasn't arrived, they stop showing up to the table because they know they are in for a world of hurt. I just sat at my table for an hour and a half waiting for three sushi rolls. There is absolutely no authenticity, and it seems like everyone is running around like a chicken with their head cut off. There is absolutely no organization and the owner couldn't care less as the chefs were sweating trying to get the orders out he was talking to customers laughing it up as if his restaurant wasn't going right down the toilet. I am absolutely appalled with everything that happened this evening. I didn't even wait for my Sushi to arrive. I closed out and left. I still left a tip for the server because again it was not his fault but they should be embarrassed and if it was up to me, I would call Chef Gordon Ramsay and have them put on kitchen nightmares immediately. what used to be a staple in El Dorado Hills is just a nightmare dining experience.

The food was good, we ordered rolls and appetizers. When I got here I was greeted with half a smile ( not a genuine welcome) and got a table for three which was located closest to the door. After we finished the appetizers our server brought us sushi but did not offer new plates after appetizers, had to ask. New plates were just placed on the side of the table - still did not take the used plates. So we had to eat in that mess.Total spent with tip $148+.And I want to mention the hot tea with no taste at all. Basically just warm water. Even if there were 2 tea bags. Giving 3 stars

Food was well presented and tastes great.Ordered 4 roll, edamame and tempura for appetizers. When I got here I was greeted with half a smile ( not a genuine welcome) and got a table for three which was located closest to the door. Every time the door was opened - was hit with blast of cold breeze - it’s cold outside.Order taker very generic - all the rolls had playful names. Was not offered new plates after appetizers, had to ask. New plates were just placed on the side of the table - still did not take the used plates.Ordered dessert ( see pictures) looked awesome. The fried banana was not so good. Too much whip cream tasted way different than all others - have eaten this all over greater Sacramento area.Total spent with tip $148+.And I won’t mention the hot( warm) tea!I hate people that leave bad review without cause. I wish them success - but I will not go there again. Giving 4 stars instead of 1.

There are many options for Sushi in the area. This should never be your choice. We went for dinner to celebrate a family member. We observed an argument between what appeared to be the owner and his spouse with a group. It sounded like he over charged the party, the group took issue, and he accused them of being drunk. The owner was yelling and standing over people. At point I heard him say he had "men in the back" that would "handle it." Pretty sure that was a threat. The people at the table were seated and eventually attempted to leave when a woman, assume it was the spouse, tried to lock them in the building. She was yelling in faces of the customers and the whole situation was absurd. I can affirm that if that group was drunk they were getting all the drinks in restaurant. Took an hour to get one beer. Service was slow. Bento box food was dry, small portion of fish on sushi, and the sushi had too many sauces. Probably because they had a child putting on the sauces (observed). Almost every roll on the menu had hot sauce on it. Very one note. The menu has changed for the worse, the service was terrible and dramatic, the bill was high. I asked and the server said it was due to new management. We won't be going back.

We haven't been here for a while, the roles were all fabulous, great selection, great flavors, excellent quality. But, I really love sashimi and that wasn't nearly as good as before. The fish itself was fine but not a lot of flavor and not a lot of selection. Overall though we do like this place the staff is great and we will be back.

Sky Sushi never fails to impress! Our top picks every time we come is the ‘mad for garlic’, ‘butter me up’, and ‘hot cougar’! Tonight was no different! Hats off to the sushi chefs, wait staff and the owner, Zeev!

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill, turning into one of the worst dining experiences we've had in years. I will say, the server was nice and very apologetic, that was the best part of the meal. The music was blaring so everyone had to talk loud. We were continually served lukewarm tea, the rolls were sloppy, and tasted off. They replaced the rolls with a basic rainbow roll, which had chewy rice, tough overcooked shrimp, and dry slices of fish. The unagi hand rolls were more like finger rolls, but the good news is, the ice water was cold. If there had only been one issue, we could've overlooked it, but it was the whole meal. Such a disappointment.

They have simplified the menu so I’m sad to have lost some of my favorites and I’m still learning the new menu but overall I love their sushi - they have interesting choices.
