I ordered some takeout yesterday & unfortunately the crispy-ness of my veg. Tempura & Oh! Yes deep fried roll wasn’t there..(but that’s on me because I had to finish work before I could enjoy eating my meal). Regardless, the overall texture of the rice & flavors of all the different rolls I had were wonderful! I even ended up with some leftovers & the texture of the rice was still on point. The flavors were still all good which is rare because usually left over sushi is not good. Thank you sushi Kuma, Thank you Chef!
Just one constructive criticism for customers service - serving staff: When you pick up a customer’s order actually hand it to them.. don’t just walk it half way then place it down on the bar & walk away.. it makes it awkward and half-assed. If your not comfortable approaching customers and politely handing them their orders, then you can leave it at the end of the bar, welcome the customer in and point out which order is theirs so that they can walk up and pick it up themselves. Then thank them and wish them a good day! It’s Simple. Easy. You can do it!! I believe in you!! 😊🫶

7-2925: Ordered Bento box w/sashimi, teriyaki beef, and tempura. Also came with hot rice, salad, miso soup, & fortune cookie. Other than the fortune cookie looking like it'd been dropped or crushed, the miso soup was luke-warm. Expected it to be hot like previous visits .. not this time!
Dinner #2: sushi & sashimi dinner - received 5 pc nigiri w/different sashimi on top of each, 4 pc of tuna on the side, and 8 pc California roll. California roll had NO taste. Salmon nigiri: sashimi was warm to the touch compared with the other nigiris, sashimi was cold to the touch. Miso soup was also luke warm.
Dinner #3 (take out): Bento box w/mackerel (salted), salmon (teriyaki), mixed tempura. Mackerel had way too many bones, tasted twangy & fishy tasting (shouldn't be). Salmon WAS NOT coated with teriyaki sauce and VERY MUCH UNDERCOOKED (couldn't be eaten, was thrown away). . Have never had problems like this in the past and after this, will NOT be back! Our suggestion to anyone eating there, check your food before consuming it. Raw fish should NEVER be twangy tasting or have a strong odor to it. If it does, stop eating and notify your server immediately!!

I normally don’t write reviews for places I eat but this had to be done. I went by myself to eat dinner here and the staff surrounded me next to people that were dining with others instead of the single chairs facing the glass towards the chefs. I asked for a Corona and Red Dragon Roll. Server looked at my ID, and then never brought me the drink at all but only the sushi. I noticed her talking to another coworker and looking my direction. Very strange and rude, do not recommend this place to anyone wanting to go eat alone. Go to Umi or Mikuni’s, they’ll at least serve you the drink you showed your ID for.

Ordered from DoorDash there was a mistake with the rolls. Tried calling to try to fix the issue. The person who answered was kind and was trying to find a solution then another lady, I’m assuming the manager, got on the phone and said it is a problem between me and DoorDash. Incredibly rude. After 10 years of being a loyal customer this is how it ends. Horrible customer service.

I had the most enjoyable experience here! The service was fast, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was phenomenal—everything from the sushi rolls to the appetizers was prepared to perfection. The fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The ambiance was inviting and peaceful, with a sleek, modern design that added to the experience. It’s a great place for both casual meals and special celebrations. I’ll definitely be back!

I ordered DoorDash for pickup from here. When I arrived they had apparently given my order to someone else, then made me wait about 45 minutes to remake the order. Very unapologetic and it was clear that correcting their mistake was not at all their priority. Food was mediocre at best.
If you want sushi in this area, go over to Umi instead where the food and service is MUCH better.

I feel the quality of the food has decreased from a year or two ago. I had the Happy roll and Spicy Tuna hand roll. The Happy roll had a soggy and tough deep fried shrimp, and both rolls were on the side of bland to me.
Really good service, and the food is not bad, but rather okay.
