Worst ribs I’ve ever had dry and burnt.

Took the motorcycle here, with friends. We were all happy with our food and service. We had shrimp tacos, roadhouse sandwich, and Cajun chicken sandwich. The French fries were delicious as well. Bloody marrys were also very good.

This was a place I really wanted to like, due to I’ve heard good things about the BBQ. This was the worst BBQ I’ve ever had, the sides coleslaw and mashed potatoes were awful!

Never again !

Enjoyed the most recent experience. Has changed over the last 40 years but still there.. fair pricing, great service and nice renovations over the years.

The staff are super friendly, plenty of shade outside, beer refilled when empty. I think the chicken sandy might have given me food poisoning. Weird combo of spicy and sweet. The bun was wet but I was hungry (fries are delicious I like them salty)?

Our friends came up from San Francisco who wanted to meet us for a nice lunch here at Poor Reds. I don't know if it was an off day or what. The dressing was so much mayo on the caesar salad, and no parmesan cheese, not what I was expecting at all. And such a dinky serving for the price. It's lettuce and croutons for God's sake. The chili was awful, served cold, no cheese or onions. The beans were out of a can and the meat was cooked hamburgers that were coarsely chopped. No tomatoes, no acidity. It needed some vinegar or lemon juice or something to balance the flavor. Very disappointing. I've never had food I couldn't eat. The pulled pork sandwiches looked nothing like the pictures, were puny and stingy with the bbq sauce for 15.95 we were expecting something stacked with meat. Music was so loud we could barely hold a conversation. We're far from foodies or fuddy duddies, but poor reds was a disappointment all the way around. Maybe we just didn't know the good things to order? No refills on ice tea or water. Won't bother again. With so many choices of places to go we'll pick somewhere else next time.
