Parking lot is super small, so try your luck with the lot itself or with street parking or a nearby parking lot. They also close at 2 pm, so no late brunch for you!
We stopped by at 11 am and were able to order and snag a table before it got too packed. We ordered the loco moco ($13), macadamia nut waffle ($11.50), and a spam musubi ($3.50). This was the only place where I've been asked how I'd like my egg cooked for the loco moco, so I got my egg scrambled. The order of spam musubi comes with just one.
Spam musubi was already premade, so for that price at one each and the fact that it was sitting by the register (so not hot and made to order), it was okay. Loco moco was okay as well. I was most disappointed with the macadamia nut waffle, as it was just a waffle (not super crisp) with chopped macadamia nuts sprinkled on top. No mac nut sauce like other Hawaiian spots I've tried. Food was good, but nothing that would draw me back, given the prices, parking situation, and early closing hours.

It was a bit pricey but the food was good and the portions were filling so I would most likely eat here again.
Lite Bites hit the spot! Portuguese sausages, french toast and eggs were all delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere and seating was very comfortable. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Eh, brah, dat kine island grinds I wen' try, was kine pilau. First ting, we like start wit' spam, eggs, and rice, but had order spam (protein item?) dat come wit' two eggs and buttermilk pancakes. Like rice? Extra! I neva even want pancakes, but gotta buy everyting separate, so I wen' get 'em, but ask try da ube and macnut pancakes, extra cost, and one spam musubi on da side. I tell 'em eggs ova easy too. So, howzit? No broke da mouth, yeah? Da egg white still runny, like no cook good, da macnut pancake wit' banana inside, no got macadamia nuts, and no haupia macadamia nut sauce. Da ube pancake had da ube sauce, but taste more like frosting. Okay, but I no tell you get 'em. Da spam musubi was sad, small kine rice dat fall apart fast, da seaweed hard like jerky, but da Tropical Aloha Maid Juice Pass-O-Guava was da bomb. Da place try make local food wit' Hawaiian music, but no can, yeah? Go Aloha Food Factory in Alhambra, Aunty Maile's Hawaiian Restaurant in Torrance, Kings Hawaiian Bakery in Torrance, or L & L Hawaiian Barbecue in West Covina, betta you go.

I was apprehensive to come here, but boy I am happy I did. I had the LocoMoco and needless to say I am hooked. Service was standard and vibe is typical for a plaza restaurant. Great stop if you are hungry and in the area.

It was our first time here with friends and family for breakfast, I must say enjoyed our meals which ranged from pancakes, waffles, musubi, sausages, bacon, wow! Delicious!
It is a different set up, than any other restaurant we've been to, you go up to the counter, place your order and then you find a seat. Similar to a fast food restaurants when ordering. Other restaurants we've been to gas a hostess to greet you, take the amount of people in your party then shows you to your seats. 😋

This place is actually disgusting. Both food and service. Ordered through Ubereats and requested bananas to be substituted for strawberries and they charged me extra for the strawberries and gave NO BANANA. Didn’t even ask me. Also the crepe came with NOTHING INSIDE. It was just powdered sugar, strawberries with some drizzle of chocolate on top. Crepe was also thick and it was the worst crepe I’ve ever tasted. Not just ordinary bad but it was actually disgusting that I had to trash it. The loco moco was also bland, flavorless, and repulsive. I threw it out after the first bite because it tasted awful. Customer service was terrible too they refused to do anything. This was the worst meal I’ve ever had in all of California.

BIG plates POOR quality. Are the plates massive? yes! Does it taste good? NO, they use too much oil to cook the meals, the cheese for my omelette wasn't good to say least, I can tell their marketing is let's give huge plate but sacrifice quality ingredients. Were the Pancakes big? yes huge but they tasted like paste we didn't even ate half. Not coming here again. Not worth the hype.
Good Grub ! Very tasty dishes. Good service.
