Went for Sunday Brunch. Tables are well maintained and the hospitality workers are friendly. Great environment and you get a nice chill vibe from the place. Loco Moco plate was savory and tasty. Hamburger patty was well seasoned and the rice was perfectly cooked. Gravy was very yummy and I wished I had more. 5/5 plate. Reminds me of Rainbow's Drive Thru in Honolulu Hawaii. Ube Pancakes were fluffy and the ube tasted lite. Coconut complimented the airy texture and flavor you get from the pancake and ube. I wished there was more ube and no coconut. I also wished there was more sugar in that dish. Maybe I just have a sweet tooth? I think if you are an ube fanatic, the. you'd rate it higher than a 3.5/5. Ube coffee. Tasted like 1/2 coffee and 1/2 ube. Delivered what was stated on the name. 3.5/5, maybe 4/5. Get the Loco Moco. I love Loco Mocos. I think you'll love them too. That's worth coming back for more!

Finally got to try this place as it's so close to my house! You can order at the front and then find a table. Came on a Saturday afternoon and it was somewhat busy. Though we were able to order and find a table, most of the tables were taken. We ordered their Loco Moco, Ube Conconut Pancake, chocolate chip pancake, and bacon and eggs breakfast. The Loco Moco was decent. Not a great size portion but it tasted ok. Ube Coconut Pancake though a bit sweet for me was pretty good. Love the color and texture of it. So bright in color! Chocolate chip pancake was good. Plenty of chocolate chips. Bacon and egg breakfast was simple but good. Crispy bacon is what I like and got! Overall good place. Will need to try their other offerings. Won't mind coming again.

Finally dined in on a weekday since they're always busy on weekends. It's fast casual so you pay at the front and sit at whichever tables are open. Super friendly service is a plus. Instead of pancakes, I went for the florentine scrambler as a protein option. The omelette was decently sized for one person and had lots of cheese topped on it. I ordered it with fried potatoes as a side and they're solid (who hates fried potatoes?). I had a pleasant dine-in experience and I'm happy that I finally made it happen.

Tasty quick brunch spot with easy parking in a strip mall. Order at register and get a number for your table, or takeout. My favorite is their Ube Belgian waffles. Amazing ube flavor in the waffle and sauce. I asked for no coconut flakes. Also tried their Kalua pig omelette and Avocado omelette- both solid. Wouldn't say either stood out but did the job and was tasty. Lavender iced coffee was a hit Tried ube iced coffee too- which I really couldn't taste the ube part Overall an enjoyable spot for brunch, with friendly and quick service. Definitely recommend the Ube Waffles as it was a clear standout.

We got take out from the spot and honestly it was mid af. I got the pork chilaquiles and it was very bland. The pork portion was also very small. We got a couple of the different pancakes and I'll say those were pretty good. I especially liked the coconut syrup they provided. We also got the katsu rice plate. Mac salad was on point but the katsu was dry and uninspiring. Overall, I'd wanna try dining here next time.

Glad Stacks came to the SGV. Open at 6:30am but closes early 2pm so plan accordingly. Came at 8:30am plenty of clean tables. List of food items on menu is a little overwhelming. Too much goodies to choose from. Had to go with pancakes had me some sausage and eggs as well. The sauces on table, we didn't know the maple syrup is in squirt bottle. Thought that might be bbq sauce. Quick bites spam musubi available and juice. Will come back for lunch plates next.

This place is literally down the street from my house, second time trying it and i went bigger. My god it didn't disappoint! I need everyone to come try out. I lived here my whole life and have seen restaurants not make it in that location but i know this one is here to stay!! Make sure you try them out, perfect breakfast spot and everyone is so helpful/nice!

This little spot replaced the old Richie Wich so wanted to give it a go. There is parking in their little lot but it was completely filled when I was there. You can park on the street though. It was fairly busy on Saturday at 12:15, but we were lucky to get one table. These are my thoughts. Loco Moco - I thought this was pretty basic. It's a lot of rice but the gravy was buttery goodness. Hamburger patty wasn't anything too special and was thin. (3.5/5) Ube Coconut Pancake - Just by the name of the restaurant I assume pancakes are a must get here. These were delicious and would recommend. Tasted like a better ube pancakes than the premix ones you get at Trader Joe's. Also comes with ube sauce and coconut sauces. It's delicious. (5/5) This place was solid but not the best Hawaiian I've had. Definitely get the pancakes and come early if you don't want to wait!

So delighted to find this spot! Great menu items: classic loco moco, spam musubi, and the Guava Toffee Waffles were insanely good! Service was friendly and excellent. It may be a small restaurant (sit yourself), but very welcoming and clean. We'll be returning soon!

Came with the wife for some Loco Mocos. Mine with the hamburger and the wife with spam. They were very good, I will be back. Sounds so simple with rice, hamburger (spam) and eggs covered in brown gravy but very tasty. Highly recommend.

This location is starting to be our go too for a quick lunch sandwich, the beauty of this place is that I keep running into family and friends whenever I visit. I will have to stop by for their breakfast meals one day ?

Nice Hawaiian restaurant in a small strip mall. The staff are really nice. I wanted a quick small brunch so ordered spam and egg musubi and the ube coconut pancakes, and POG juice. Everything tasted nice. The musubi with egg was fine but I don't think it added anymore flavor. The juice was good, I could taste all three fruit juices, pineapple, orange and guava. The pancakes were as expected. I don't like coconut shavings on their own but they were good in these pancakes! I really like that it was not sickly sweet. The tables have Tabasco and the togo coffee condiment table had one bottle of Sriracha so I brought that to my table and returned it when I left. Recommended!

Wife and I shared the Loco Moco with spam and Portuguese sausage, chicken katsu, and white lave pancakes. All were delicious. The pancakes were more vanilla-y in flavor with the macadamia nuts coming through a bit at the end. Chicken was crispy. Sausage was just like in Hawaii. I'll bee going back for sure.

I recently dined at Aloha Stacks and was thoroughly impressed. The ordering process is seamless – you place your order at the counter, pay upfront, and receive a numbered tag. In no time, your fresh and delectable food is delivered to your table. Both dishes shown in the provided pictures were delicious and freshly made. A great spot for locals for a quick quick and satisfying meal or take out.Parking: Parking lot available in the same lot of the restaurant, if it's full you can park in the residential or the school sidewalk across the street.

A Hawaiian style diner opens at El Monte, a friend of mine recommended that I give it a try since she knew I was a fav of Ube. I ordered the Ube coconut pancake, Mac'Nut Banana pancake and Kalua Pork Omelette. I do agree with my friend that the Ube pancake is good, however, they have forgotten to include the Ube sauce, I am a little disappointed. It might be because I ordered during lunch hours and they were busy. The Kalua pork omelette was great, lots of meat and extremely flavorful. I am going to give them a try again, this time will place the order during nonpeak hours.
