It was my first time visiting this little small gem ! I haven't had a torta Ahogada since I was in GDL. I must say it was pretty good . I will visit again and try something else. Customer service was good too . Champurrado was good too!

Good food my wife took me for dinner to try something new the food was god the service not to well from the time we got our food we never seen the server until I paid i usually like to leave a tip depending on service and this time I will be honest I didn't want to leave any tips since we didn't get any service, may be will try again in the future hope is a different experience, the carne en su jugo is delicious ?
In a mostly Latino city, I'm always surprised at the few solid Mexican food restaurants serving authentic , flavorful consistently well prepared dishes! This place is definitely one of them! The Chilaquiles (red) with scrambled eggs, crunchy with home fries is perfection!! The torts ahogadas & Carne en su jugo are dilectable!! And I will be honest, this isn't my go to for menudo but it's descent ! Service is friendly & accommodating!

You must see this location once you get in El Monte! For me, the menudo is the best item. Birria tacos and a birria platter were also on the menu. They were so good that I had to place another takeout order. Also pretty great is the environment. Nothing beats a decent restaurant and a pleasant atmosphere, so I'm delighted I was able to stop here on the way through. Thank you, Janah, my friend! Hugs for the recommendation!

I've always walked by here and finally decided to give this place a go on national cheeseburger day. Wow it's certainly a hidden gem. I got these items. Burger combo with cheese - tasted like an in n out burger with the thousand island sauce. It also came with avocados which made it so good. Fries were super crispy and comes with a side of ranch. (5/5) Torta Ahogada - You gotta eat this fast otherwise it'll get soggy. Super crispy bread with tender moist meat. This was surprisingly so good. (4.5/5) I'd totally be back here. It is a bit unwelcoming initially looking from the outside but the food makes up for it. Note credit card charges an extra $1 so pay with cash if you have it. Small little hole in the wall that packs a big punch!
