We decided to go to Cafe Tizon today. The owner, Maria is our neighbor . Besides we were craving to try a new Mexican restaurant. My honey decided to try the menudo. I tried the chicken enchiladas.Both were really good. Also we purchased two dozen of the pork tamales too.We are coming back to try their costillo (sp?) and burritos.I would recommend this place.

It all started last night. I woke up around 3 AM. dreaming of having the perfect bowl of MenudoUnfortunately, it wasn’t realThen I woke up this morning, knowing that I had a purpose…I had to turn this dream into reality. I didn’t know how but I knew today was the day. I did my regular morning routine made it to work and then around 11:35 AM today I got hungry I began to hunt for the right restaurant then I stumbled across this place,What caught my eye at first in the menu was that they sold tamales hereI was shook impressed and baffled, but relievedI had found a place I had found my purpose I walked in around 2:13 PM. I ordered a bowl of Menudo with a side of one Tamale.Around 2:25 PM I received my food the service was fast and they made me feel at home reminded me when I was back in MexicoMichoacán,As I was finishing my bowl and I took the last spoonful I then knew my life was complete. I was filled with joy, happiness, fulfillment, hope, gratefulness.I would 110,000% recommend this place.

The coffee I enjoyed. The chicken tamal not so much. I ordered two. The tamales were cold and not to die for honestly. Both tamales were brown, the chicken was brown like it was past due. This isn’t a place I would go to eat tamales.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD!!!! My family goes every weekend sometimes all weekend This restaurant is family owned and they are so sweet. The food is always delicious and you can never go wrong with this place.

Came here to pick up some tamales and had a great time. The tamales are absolutely to die for!! Their champurrado is also phenomenal!! If I visit LA again, I am 100% visiting this place for breakfast again.
Omggggg what a lovely hole in the wall! Amazing authentic Mexican food made on the spot and with love. Got chicken enchiladas and they were soooo good would definitely recommend!!

I had the chorizo and eggs plate with a green chile-chicken tamale on the side. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. I enjoyed my meal with cafe de La olla (cinnamon & sugar). It was my 2nd time here... The 1st time I had the Chile Verde Plate also very good and filling... Both times with freshly made corn tortillas available every day here. It feels like home cooking... They are very nice here... I'll be back again...

The menudo and pozole were really good. Tasted authentic and not store bought. There agua frescas were good as well. I'm definitely coming back if I'm in the area.

This place is awesome, My family and I have been coming here for a couple of years now and have never had a bad meal. This place has fresh made food from the menudo to tacos and the tamales are absolutely the Bomb. Highly recommend this place. Family owned and operated. The entire staff is great. If your ever in the area, stop by you won't be disappointed.

I grew up I this area never having known this spot. That being said I wish I found it sooner. The food is delicious and they literally have the best Cafe de olla in town. Sounds like I'm being extra but, it's the truth.
