I eat pollo loco a lot. This is my week day spot for lunch. They have fire grill combo for under $6 bucks. Only at this spot I but the combo and use the survey coupon that deducts $1.I get 3 chicken tacos with chips and a soda. For under $6 .Such a great deal. Had to post .Save money eat healthy was able to go back to school.because I am saving $10 to $15 a day instead of eating grubhub and going to other places.

This is the 3rd time I order from this particular pollo loco and the chicken is shredded. They look like scraps from chicken that fell apart. Not appealing whatsoever. So disappointed. Doubt I will be going here anymore

I asked for two kids meals with the sides and drinks they come with. The price on the board said 5.49. I get to the front, and it shows they charged for brc combo not kids meal. They told me kids meals don't come with sides, and this was the accurate price. Apparently the sign and their website is wrong. Maybe fix the issue- re-educate employees? I don't care I won't be back. Also they charged me for the cilantro salsa and forgot to put it in the bag. Go to another location where they won't try to rip you off.

I got assaulted by some maniac contractor that was doing work inside this Pollo Loco location. He was an older man around 55 years old driving a white work van. He was standing at the door and before I went in he told me me get out of his way because he was having a bad day and then he pushed me to the ground. I called 911. The employees lied to the police and said that I entered his personal space that's why he pushed me to the ground. Yet he was the person that put his hands on me and I had injuries. He entered my personal space. Because of the lying employees the cops let the man free. He got away with committing a crime. You don't put your hands on anybody let alone deliberately push them to the ground. Now a maniac is on the loose and the employees should have protected the customer not a bitter old contractor mad at the world blaming his problems on others. I give this place one star. I would never return

On December 7th 2023 at 11:30 a.m. I was assaulted outside this location by some older man that was outside the door. He was a service repairman of some sort working inside for Pollo Loco. Something was wrong with him. He was being very loud. He told me he was having a bad day and he was looking for attention. He was being very loud and I told him that I'm not across the street. He eventually got violent and pushed me to the ground. I called the police. They made a report. They interviewed him then they went inside Pollo Loco and interviewed the employees. The employees deliberately lied and said that I started it. They never saw the assault occur. But they lied that I was the one provoking that weird man outside the door. And because of that they didn't arrest the man or file any charges. That violent older man got away clean. All because the employees lied. I would never go back to the store. They can be killing you outside and the employees will lie that the victim was a troublemaker. Do not go here. Avoid.

This location is shady with scanning your app so you can get rewards points . The cashier scanned my app to get reward points and I never received my reward points and they girve you the receipt with your order number not the actual receipt with the scan code to get reward points corporate should know about this.

This El Pollo Loco location is the worst. I will never come back to this location after my most recent experience. The employees are stingy when it comes to giving you salsas for your meal. They said the manager allows only a number of condiments per order. I ordered a half chicken meal but did not get enough to enjoy my meal. Before, they had a open salsa bar where you can just get your own salsas. Now, they have to give it to you.When you ask for more, they challenge you and refuse to give you enough salsas so you can enjoy your meal . The chicken here is also quite dry unlike the other better run locations. The manager here should be replaced with one who is better at understanding their customers needs. The yelp ratings for this location tells you all you need to know. The ratings would probably be a lot lower if it wasn't for the minimum one star.

I was a bit hesitant to come to this El Pollo Loco given the low reviews, but other El Pollos around this area was in the same boat... about 2 stars. Just be careful with what you order and always check your food. I placed a mobile pick-up order and went in to pick-up. Upon going in, they were just putting everything together, so there was no delay there. Food was pretty good even though the low reviews and ratings. I though the chicken would be too dry, but it was fine. Stick to dark meat. My favorite item that they have is this green guacamole sauce that they scoop on the side for your if you ask. It's a little spicy and sour. I would just dip tortillas in that sauce and just eat it. I checked my order and everything came out fine. Phew! Just come to this El Pollo Loco at your own risk and just be cognizant of what you get. I don't not eat at this type of establishment very often.
