Happy Bakery El Monte

This is the 3rd cake I've ordered from here within 1 year. Me and my loved ones absolutely love this bakery. Thank you 😊 🥰 OMG.... and the mini carrot cakes are to die for 🔥

This is so sad, I had to purchase a last minute cake to take to work for my boss. I saw this bakery with high star reviews so I decided to try it out. I got there and I saw 1 cake ready and 3 more that they were plain. I asked the lady if the cake that was ready was fresh and made it that day? She said yes I just put it inside the fridge I said ok let me get it she took it to the back to write something on top and she came back she put it in the box and gave it to me I paid $55 for a small cake and when I got to work my coworkers noticed the hair coming out of the cake. DISGUSTING!!
Also everything looks old, the balloons that they have in the wall are full of dust !!

Horrible! I got a custom cake from this bakery and they did the exact opposite of what I even wanted. 1. The saying is completely misspelled 2. The tie dye colors aren’t even the colors I requested 3. The checkered sides aren’t even 4. I only requested black writing! No white and it’s not like they contacted me to tell me they thought the white would help it pop, no they went ahead and just did it themselves!
I had reference pictures and went over it multiple times of what I wanted and even said if any questions please call.
This was supposed be a birthday cake and got it on that said birthday and now I got no cake. $85 in the trash.
If all they had said wasn’t that they couldn’t it, it wouldn’t have been a big deal but I called them and he just gave some BS excuse with no accountability at all. Thanks for the ruined birthday especially with the attitudes they wanted to give me when I did call.

Update: Email that was sent to me after complaint was for a $20 store credit nothing spectacular with that because it’s not like I want something else from this place. I had went in there to order the cake a week prior and went over with the guy MULTIPLE times for 15-20mins of what exactly I wanted and showed picture references and he was writing down what was being explained (the tie dye colors and everything too) and I had stated that if there’s ANY questions or concerns about what I wanted to contact me so there is no miscommunication but no one contact me at all. They basically took it into their own hands and did what they wanted to do (the colors, wording, word color, etc). $85 down the drain with no cake for the celebration because this was the day of the birthday, going into somewhere a week prior they should have got a simple idea right, but it come out looking like it was done within 15mins before showing up and looking like it was half fast thrown together. If the other review photos are real I definitely didn’t get the person who did those cakes.
Honestly just better off going to Stater Brothers or even Walmart because it didn’t even taste that good either.

Happy Bakery made a great tasting cake for my coworkers birthday last minute. The frosting is so perfect...not overly sweet. All I did was call them on the phone and tell them what character I wanted on the cake and what flavor and they came up with a very cute design.

Delicious cakes, always fresh. Nice decorations. Ordered on short notice and she was able to make it for my daughters birthday while I was in town. They’ve been around for along time, my family has been going here for years. The sponge is my favorite . The only thing is that’s it’s a little pricey.

I went to Sandy for my hybrid eyebrows and she did an amazing job! She's so nice and makes you comfortable while explaining the process. I just love how my eyebrows turned out.

I order a diabetic cake , not sugary at all, the strawberries inside the vanilla cake was most of flavor ,joe is nice , what bother me the must for 6 inch cake $49.99 instead of long cake I ask for round , it’s a wriped off an overprice cake , there was no difference than regular cake except no sugary an smaller.
