I've been going to Jolly Jug since I was 12. The Cole Slaw is the best, not like any other. When visiting from AZ, I have to stop and get my Cole slaw. The sandwiches are just as good. The owner is a very sweet and funny lady. Thank you Jolly Jug. Until my next visit. ❤️

Decent breakfast for the price. Coffee a little expensive though.

My family and I dined in and service wasn’t great. The food wasn’t not what was expected and it just wasn’t good. The prices were too high for the quality and it was disappointing for trying to get a good meal as it was recommended as a local spot.

Parking: Location is safe.

Kid-friendliness: The service wasn’t great… kids can eat here.

Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.

Definitely looking forward to stopping in again!
Recommend the club sandwich, beef dip and pastrami!
This place is overflowing with vintage charm and character.
If you finish your meal, you get candy!

I’ve been coming here since forever (40+ years)! The quality of the food has never changed. It’s truly a unique dip sandwich experience. The bread is crispy, the meat is flavorful and juicy and the gravy dip is seriously to die for. The mix of spices in it is what makes it superior. It’s not just salty fatty water like most dips. My favorite is beef followed closely by pork and then pastrami, but truly I don’t think you can go wrong. The owner is great and so is the service. If you want a delicious trip in a Time Machine this is the place!!

Makes sense this place has been open since the 40’s! So much character and hospitality. Margaret was so kind & treated us like family. This place was the highlight of our day, we’ll be back :)

I read reviews that they have a great beef dip sandwich. Well it depends on what makes a great beef sandwich for you. While the beef itself is really delicious, the meat was very fatty. I took off about 1/3 of the meat because it was fat. The dip isn't that great. It's more of a homemade beef gravy.... not very very or flavorful like au jus. Didn't even use it and it doesn't pair very well with the pastrami.
