It’s really sad the restaurant closed permanently. I have so many nice memories going here as a kid for every celebration: birthdays, graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day etc... The lines were always long during a holiday because the food was good and authentic. Unfortunately during Covid they changed their hours so they were no longer open past 4pm and it stayed like that. They claimed they couldn’t find servers but I think the owners didn’t want to pay a living wage. I’m sure they lost a lot of business because they closed so early. Who eats dinner at 3:30pm? Even my parents who are seniors don’t eat dinner that early. They were mostly known for dinner dishes like the Birria estilo Jalisco and molcajetes. If it was me I would have open later and stay open for the dinner rush.
I will have to start going to the one in Downey or Pico but it’s not the same ?

The food is delicious, however, the cashier had a bad attitude for no reason and she seemed unhappy even to work there. Other than that food is great.

Terrible service, horrible staff attention, first they seat us at a table, then they move us to another table, the food was cold, then they started to pressure us to pay because they had to cut cash, they didn't even let us finish eating, they literally kicked us out

The food was okay I had the birria which was a good amount of food but the birria tasted game-y, like, it tasted like the animal. My mom had the chiles rellenos and it was okay. I feel like the prices don’t match the quality of the food and I’d rather cook at home. The service was great though, the food came fast and checked in with us to see if everything was okay.
