I've always had the best of experiences at Tommy's El Monte. Yesterday I was order 62 and went via drive thru. Something didn't look right and questioned the rep. Assured reason took like that was to address what I ordered. Should have challenged but always had excellent service called store and Maribel assisted me. She helped filled order and stated it was misunderstanding. Went back today and she corrected the problem. That's why I continue Original Tommy's El Monte.

Tommy's always hits the spot especially when you add the yellow chili peppers to your chili cheese item! If you sign up for their social media they have a great special every week. There is no limit on the specials either!

Fast and friendly service the food is always 10/10 at any of these Tommy’s locations I’m glad they have deals online if you follow their account on Instagram to see what deals and just show it to the drive in or dine in they’ll honor it as long as it’s not passed the date

They struggle to take your order. I'm not sure if it is a language thing or if their computer system sucks. I considered ordering online and picking up, but they charge higher prices online so you're stuck trying to communicate in person. Unfortunately, there is a younger female worker who seems to understand english well but has a terrible attitude, so they keep her in the back. She will pop out every now and then just to argue with a customer. I would bet she is a nepotism hire. This is only an issue if you have a large order. If you just get one or two things, it should be fine. The food is good.
