Thursday12/7/23 Dinner at Quan De 7 Mon restaurant in El Monte with my cousin and friend Jimmy. Enjoying lots of my cravings: grilled shrimps, baby clams, hot pot, and fried tofu with shredded dried pork and satay green onions. It hits multiple spots in my tummy and for sure I’ll be sleeping with a big smile tonight. Good itself was not bad, but the cooking speed is really slow, we waited over 20 minutes to finally get our food. Overall speaking, if you are really hungry and want your food fast, this is not the place.
Despite the loud Karaoke from the next door, the food itself wad decent. I love their sqail #21. Other than that, the raw shrimp was ok, not the best in town. We also order squid, scallop,and fried tofu. They are not bad. If you want to try some Vietnamese bbq, not a bad place to go, but I am good for visiting it once.
