The best ice cream ever! I’ve been enjoying it (and missing it) for over 65 years! Rocky Road, Black Cherry, Rainbow Sherbet, Coconut Pineapple!
Cherry chip delicious, please put in markets and at Super A ice cream server scoops
Best ice cream I’ve had in my life. Love their Pistachio flavor!
Now that Rite Aid has closed I have not been able to get some of my favorite Thrifty Ice Cream flavors in the local markets. I called the factory and spoke with a very sweet young lady. She answered all of my questions and encouraged me to call back in the future for updates. It was a pleasure talking with her. I pray the brand brings back the factory tour and opens a store at the plant. That would really be awesome!
AMAZING!!! There will always be a place in my heart for Thrifty's Ice Cream
The ice-cream is the best ice-cream I've ever had in my life by the way its his daughter
Please please since rite aid is closing I have no access to my most favorite icecream cherry chip. I'm dying without it. Please start selling it at Vons or something I need it bad.
I love your Ice Cream. I was so excited to see you had it at a store near me. I got to the register and it rang up $6. It shocked me I never pay more than $3. for Ice cream. Just to let you know it will be the last time.
The best ice cream by far. Love that it is made local and sourced local. 💯

Very tight driveway for tractor and trailer, not designed for 53 footers. One way in and out. Be prepared to wait to come in if a truck is leaving out. You may be holding up traffic at the 2 way intersection. Been waiting for an hour to get unloaded.
?We visited the Thrifty Ice Cream Plant? today and it was a marvelous experience. Mr. Briggs (Tim) who led our tour has been working with the company for approximately 36 years and his love and enthusiasm transpires through his outgoing voice and friendly personality.Personally, as a mother of four children, the only production plants I ever seen have been on television, in programs like Mrs. Rogers Neighborhood or How it's Made. However, today our kind and helpful tour guide Mr. Briggs, shared with us an experience that will stay in our memories for a lifetime.Mr. Briggs has had such a positive time in Thrifty Ice Cream that he said in his words "it's like a family" and that's the kind of spirit we encountered today as we meet with Mr. Privitt and Mr. Arellano who also helped lead the tour. From the careful manufacturing process, to the assembly, to the traveling through conveyor belts and the quality control workers, it was like observing an enchanted world of sweet, rich, goodness! This Thrifty Ice Cream Plant is a beautiful, hidden ? gem in the city of El Monte and I am so happy to know that their flavour full ice cream ? is made locally and it's supporting the community with many jobs.At the end of the Ice Cream Plant tour we were spoiled with many samples of delicious ? ice cream that Mr. Tim was glad to serve our children and adults. Flavors like black cherry ?, ? strawberry lemonade ? sherbet, macadamia caramel, ? orange sherbet, cotton candy ?, cookies 'n cream, ? chocolate malted krunch, rocky road ice cream ? and many others I cannot recalled by name. The delicious, sweet milky flavors of dreamy goodness brought back memories of my time as a youth, (about thirty two years ago or so) when I used to work in South Pasadena on Fair Oaks Ave. I remember getting off work at the local fast food restaurant nearby and stopping at Thrifty (Rite Aid) to purchase a single scoop or sometimes double scoop of ice cream ? goodness to enjoy as I walked 2.4 miles to my home in Alhambra.I was very pleased to be reminded that markets such as Albertsons, Northgate Market, Smart & Final, Rite Aid and Vons carry their delicious ? Thrifty ice cream ? and if that's not enough even Instacart delivers it right at your door.?If you read thus far, what are you waiting? Go purchase your own tub of Thrifty Ice Cream ? today and share it with your own family ? creating memories that will last a lifetime.
