This spot is family owned and operated and was also participating in the El Monte toy drive so if you brought a toy you could get 15% off your order. Their menu is huge owner was super sweet and recommended their black garlic oil ramen. We also got their California roll which were super plump was stuffed with imitation crab. Would’ve liked a bit more cucumber and avocado tho. The ramen had thin noodles that soaked up the broth so they kinda got soft. I usually don’t like soft noods but was ok with these cuz they soaked up that SUPER flavorful, umami, savory, rich, pungent, garlicy broth. Might be a bit salty for some tho. I was also worried that it would be greasy cuz ya know garlic OIL but it wasn’t. It also was topped with green onions, crunchy bean sprouts and seaweed, a perfectly jammy egg, and super tender, well marinated cha shao. Portions are massive, prices are good, people are nice, and they always have fun specials going on. This place is pretty good :)

I tried this Tonkotsu House Ramen place and went with the Spicy Tonkotsu bowl. The broth was really flavorful and the noodles were cooked just right, definitely one of the better bowls I’ve had in the area. The service was decent, not necessarily the fastest, but everyone was polite and got everything out correctly. The atmosphere is simple and a bit basic, but it’s comfortable enough for a casual meal. Overall, solid spot with good ramen, worth stopping by when you’re craving a warm, satisfying bowl.

Price was reasonable.
I ordered Shoyu Ramen. Soup was not properly prepared, so the too strong taste and some kind of strange taste in it. They need to learn how to make a soup in proper way and taste.
They were using thin noodle type, but it will be unusual to use such thin noodle. I strongly recommend to use little thicker noodle which will give you a appropriate level of chewiness.

The ramen here is very tasty! They have a lot of anime decor. The restaurant is small and it seems most people order to go.
I’ve had ramen and sushi here, both were great! I’m definitely coming back! The service was also great, the woman who took my order was very nice and patient with me, especially because I kept changing my mind.

Friendly staff, lots of tasty veggie options including ramen bowls, fried rice, gyoza, rolls and combos. Right now kids under 12 get a free kids bowl. They had chopstick helpers for our little one. We'd come back for sure!
