Boba and coffee shop with smoothies, matcha, and most of the drink options offered at your standard boba place. The owner was so nice and offered to adjust the flavor on the drink to get it to be perfect. Will definitely be coming back as they develop their menu. Cute, cute ambience and plenty of sunlight. Sophia, the owner of Valley Cafe, is such a kind person and it shows in the way she treats each and every customer that comes to this charming little cafe off Valley Boulevard in El Monte. Sophia runs the entire cafe on her own from taking orders to making delicious drinks and serving fresh pastries.
She commutes a long distance from home to open the cafe every day, all while doing her best to make ends meet. You can study here, hang out with friends, and even play some games like mahjong on their tables! This space has the potential for more community gatherings in the future, so it would mean the world to Sophia and myself if you come to support the business.

Valley Café is truly a standout spot! The coffee is always exceptional especially the iced coffee, which has quickly become my daily must have. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. I’ll definitely be stopping by every day for my iced coffee. Highly recommended!

My bf & I stopped by today for the first time! Great place & excellent service! We got a drink each & a third to try a different flavor :) The owner was so sweet! She freshly made us a pandan waffle which we never tried before & she gave us 2 muffins to try! Honestly everything was good! We loved every single item! We will be back again!

I had the pleasure of accidentally finding this place when my partner and I were exploring El Monte for the first time. We walked in and the owner greeted us with a warm smile and a sample of freshly made Pandan waffles! (which were delicious by the way)
My partner got a Lychee tea with boba and I got a hibiscus tea with boba. Both of them were sooooooo good. It was a very quiet cafe and the owner was so lovely to talk to.
She said they will be serving breakfast sandwiches soon and I can’t wait to come back to try them.
