We tried this place while visiting the area. The beef spring rolls were very tasty with the sauce although the sauce is a little sweet. I had the beef noodle soup with brisket and thin beef and it was very good and filling. My friend had the shrimp and pork blood soup and it had a strange smell and taste. Also the AC was very cold in December I'm not sure why it has to be so cold.

This was quite literally the most disgusting places I have eaten Vietnamese food at. The egg rolls were filled with hard log, hotdog mystery meat consistency not rolled in rice paper but some kind of flavorless blistered, fried? whatever it was wrapping.
I also got the Beef Vermicelli bowl, it came with iceberg lettuce with stands of cucumber skin- both gross, typically comes with romaine. The fish sauce they gave me was just that- no additional flavouring put in it, just a bowl of fish sauce- NO. disgusting. The beef itself was hard and cold, much like beef jerky.
My friend got the fried rice- from what continent or country, no one can tell. Also disgusting to the point he asked the kid working if the chef was vietnamese.
save yourself. this place is GROSS.

Been rockin with this restaurant and it’s amazing family since it opened. Even had my baby shower here. An absolute gem in El Monte and unmatched. Moved away but try to come back on the regular to visit and now my kids are obsessed. Order the giant house special and all will make sense in the world. Other 10/10’s are the spicy basil fried rice with jalapenos, shaken beef with these hidden sliced potatoes of happiness, and the sampler with eggrolls and meatballs goodness. Viet Huong por vida!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I ordered a 30-piece spring roll party tray today, and it was beautifully put together and ready right on time. I’m so grateful to have a restaurant like this in our neighborhood—it’s truly a gem!
