Delicious and authentic Mexican food. I had the Tomatillo chile with costillas. The meat was very tender, and although chile was a bit more spicy than I liked, the homemade corn tortillas really balanced it out. It was served with delicious rice and beans... I'm definitely going to come back to try other dishes on the menu. Give it a try... You won't be disappointed!!

Went to a friends hose party, they had viva Zapata cater for there party... one word delicious! Great asada, el pastor was amazing would definitely have them cater for my house party's
Viva Zapata makes some delicious homemade [VEGAN] gorditas as well as some delicious home made natural drinks. Good customer service and great prices. How about the name of the restaurant? Viva Zapata!! Love it!!

I dug this genuine tiny little spot in El Monte.The hospitality was all love. The place is soooooo small you have to share a tsbel with strangers which makes for new conversations & dialect.The 3 women that were there doing everything communicated with each other like my Tia's & cousins did back in the day. They made the most of everything they did with love & happiness. Is it the best, by far but is sure did make my heart warm my soul happy and my stomach full. I had the flautas con Pappas( flour tortillas deep fried with mashed potatos?), fully dressed.Everyone else there had steak picado which made me want to go back and see why, and I definitely will.

Horrible Party catering. Not equipped for parties. They have a tiny grill and they don’t make real quesadillas it’s fried hard cheese tacos. Not for kids parties. And they say flautas. They are taquitos.
