Came to Xécora Gastronomía Urbana for lunch with a friend, and we left seriously impressed. First off, shoutout to our server Lupita—she was warm, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The complimentary chips with roasted salsa were a strong start, but Lupita also brought us a red spicy salsa that packed serious heat in the best way.

We started with the ceviche de pescado, and both of us agreed—it’s easily one of the best ceviches we’ve had anywhere. Super fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor.

We also tried the pozole, which was comforting and well-seasoned, but the real standout was the charbroiled octopus. It was grilled perfectly with just the right texture—tender with a bit of crisp char. Absolutely mind-blowing.

The space inside is cozy and stylish, with plenty of TVs that make it feel like a great spot for game nights. Bonus: they’ve got happy hour Monday through Friday from 3–6pm.

We’re already planning to come back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve been here 3 times. Don’t order from grubhub as the staff are not equipped to fulfill orders in a timely manner. Suggest just going there to order if you have the time. Food in this location is hit or miss. The Downey location does a better job on the food but also really bad at online orders. Nice ambiance.

Someone told me about this place, they said it was fine dining… fine dining it is not, BUT they have one of the best ceviches I have had. The WTF ceviche is addictive, I go there often just for the ceviche. Service isn’t bad, but could be better, we always see ourselves flagging our service down to get more water, more cocktails or simple things like chips and napkins. Servers are very nice, I just think they need to hire more to provide the attention required. Cocktails are pretty good, too sweet for my liking, but all my guests always love them. WTF Ceviche is the winner in this place.

The atmosphere and food is good, however the service is terrible. It always takes 10mins or more to be offered anything. The ac has not worked the last couple of times I've visited. Honestly 3strikes you're out. Will not be returning.

The gobernador Marlin Tacos tasted good. It was ok. :). The watermelon ? drink was sweet. I enjoyed it. It's a bit pricey, but it is understandable. Nice place to come eat out with family or friends. I like the atmosphere here. I appreciate the service here. Thank you. ?
