Its very disappointing to purchase two cakes for breaking the Yom Kippur fast, only to find that both of them are old and as dry as the desert. I can only hope that in the future, they will discard stale baked goods instead of selling them to unsuspecting customers

Angel Bakery has the best pita ever or a the least the best pita in Los Angeles. They might have the best pita in America. I'm not even kidding. I've been married to an Israeli for 15 years and in all that time I have never been able to figure out why they want to eat pita. It's a dry taste disk than you can shove stuff into..... And then came Angel.... I bought a package at my local grocer because it didn't feel stale and gross like the other brand that's popular here in Kosher places. When I got it home I was in shock. It's so moist and fluffy. It tastes good. It feels good. It looks good. It opens without cracking. The inside almost has the look of an English muffin because it has those little "nooks" which make it all the better to soak up your sandwich.
Wear your mask!!! Also, make your customers wear their mask and adhere to social distancing!! You have an obligation to your customers and also the city. You're not above the law because it's Hannukah. The bakery is decent but I'm certainly not going to risk my life for a mediocre sufganiyot.

Love Angel bakery. It's small but packed with the most delicious items. I've never purchased anything I didn't like and I go almost weekly for Challah. They have a deliciously moist marble loaf I brought my boyfriends uncle and he isn't a dessert fan but almost finished the whole thing. It was delicious. We buy their cheese rugelahs and they're so hard to just have a couple of. Be sure to arrive early on Friday's to get some of their pretzel challah because it sells out quickly. Note: their covid precautions truly make me feel safe. New gloves every time I've walked in, masks required etc. I've got my boyfriend, his best friend, his uncle, his friends mom, my sister and niece to all be regular customers there now. :)
