We had a reservation and the restaurant told us they were falling behind. That's not the concern of the customer, when you have a reserved time, you expect to be seated. Not wait almost an hour past your time.

Always love Benihana! And with this new "Express Meal" it is very affordable. It cost $20 including tip. It is the same meal and the only difference is that they brought the rice already cooked. HIGHLY recommend this Benihana in Encino!

Came here for birthday which we did many times but this time no big red hat no photo and the waitress is not nice making us feel like we bothered her.  The cook is very sloppy. The fried rice flying all over the place. Will not go back again.

Always great time wether you're seated with strangers or have the table to your party alone. Chefs are full of entertaining jokes and each has unique style to their presentation. Put in a reservation always though expect a wait for high volume meal times. Patience is key to enjoy top notch eats.

We got a bad Cook named Tony. Wasn't into all the entertainment aspects of the dinner. Cooking style was not in line with the rest of Benihana chefs and our expectations for the meal. No individual seasoning the food was bland and underprepared. So untypical of a Benihana meal. If you go to this location and find yourself at the table with Toni Ascher, Cook, asked for a different chef and or table. Ruined the whole birthday celebration moment. 
I love Benihana but when you are paying that much money, your food should be cooked the way you asked for it to be cook. I was asked how I wanted my steak cooked, I said well done and what I got was steak with a blood red middle. The other issue is something we have seen numerous times now at Encino location. Women who work there with extremely long hair that is not pulled back and all over the place . If the health dept walked in, I'm sure there would be an issue .

Booked 7:45 reservation and we waiting right now it’s 8PM. They double booked and now there are still 3 people ahead of us. I am a solo dad with a group of teenage girls. God help me. Please don’t double book, this is nonsense. Reservation means nothing here on the weekend

Got to Benihanas 10min early and still had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated even though i had a reservation. Food is still great as always, but now over priced with everything going up.

Waited 45 minutes for our 7:15 reservation, it was overbooked and absolutely PACKED with dozens of people waiting in the front for their late reservations as well. Horrible organization. Food was ok but definitely not worth it.
