Coley’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s soul food for the heart and spirit. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warmth, culture, and a sense of belonging. The vibrant decor, music, and energy feel like a slice of Jamaica, right in L.A.
Candice and Neil are the heart behind it all. Their passion, hospitality, and authenticity shine through in every detail. You can feel the love they pour into this place—from the ki, chen to the conversation. They don’t just serve food—they serve legacy.
The soursop juice is smooth, fresh, and unforgettable. The food is pure Jamaican comfort—seasoned to perfection and made with real heart.
They’ve done it right since 1982, and the legacy is strong.

“HBQ Chicken in Tazrana is amazing! Their rose tteokbokki is creamy, spicy, and full of flavor — easily one of the best I’ve had. The soy garlic wings are crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Everything was fresh and delicious. 5 stars all the way!“

“Love eating here! Coming from NYC, this is the closest thing I have to Dominican Culture in LA. Always recommend my friends to try their food and they fall in love with the flavors that I grew up with. Also, customer service 10/10, the Dominican hospitality is real here!“

“One of my favorite restaurants authentic Latin cuisine. I have been coming here for over 30 years and was so sad when it closed down during the pandemic. So glad it reopened! Can’t wait 😜 to go back. I give it 5 stars for sure!“

“The food is so delicious we ordered the island spaghetti,fried chicken w/rice and fried plantain everything was super fresh and flavorful! And be sure to pick up the passion fruit juice it’s so refreshing! I will be going back for more 😋“

“Oxtails were to die for. Red beans and receipt were excellent. Jerk chicken was slow cooked to almost perfection, just a tad bit too salty. Plantains were too sweet and cornbread was dry. But I would go back 😊“
