Authentic mexican food in Encino Ca. I honestly think the food was ok. A little expensive and the portion was ok too.The restaurant needs some maintenance, especially restroom and floor.Great cocktails and beer. Lack of dipping sauce.Customer service was great!!

I went for Bruce Fine’s comedy/variety show. It was very entertaining.I’m glad I finally got to try the food at El Mariachi.I was stuffed from an earlier engagement; however it smelled great and looked good. Everyone said it was excellent! I enjoyed my beans and salsa. I prefer the spicy salsa. The mild was too mild for me.Check it out. It’s a large restaurant with many different sections and entertainment room.Customer service was good. The crowd was lively, friendly and welcoming.Parking is valet or street only. Very limited street parking.

El mariachi for the first time was really good I got the taco combo and it was fantastic the meat was cooked really good great flavor my wife got the flautas and she completely loved it and afterwards we ordered one of there famous mixed drinks for my wife she loved it would recommend this place to everyone to try for themselves

If you are going to drink, be very careful because when they see you drunk they charge you too much. We were 10 people, I made my reservation 3 days ago, I put my card for 10 per person. In case they didn't arrive, they returned them to me, yes, but they didn't give me the table that I asked for. I specifically don't want the ones on the wall because they are very uncomfortable and it's the first one they gave me when I arrived at the place, they tell you that they can't do anything now. So what's the joke of reserving. I'm not coming back. Awful. And they take advantage when Tomas charges more
The environment is great. They get rid of tables to have a dancing floor. However, they don't tell you that when they seat you in that area. So, we got seated there and in the middle of our dinner they asked us to move to another area because they were going to open the dancing floor. So, that situation interrupted our dinner, and I didn't finish my food. Also, the floor is off-putting, I was dancing, and I kept tripping. The floor is deteriorating. They need to replace the whole floor. The food needs more flavor and also more options for salsas. My boyfriend got some tacos, and I got the Jalapeño Carne Asada. It's a Mexican restaurant, so they should have at least a few options of salsas. The music is great with the Mariachi and DJ.

Atmosphere is pretty lively, fun and uplifting, was a "party" here on Sunday from the time we were there 8:30pm-10pm Sunday Nite. We chose to come here because they were open till 11pm on a Sunday night for our Sunday Date Time. We very much enjoyed ourselves and would come back again! The Green Enchiladas and Molcajete with sour creme Enchiladas were delicious! Very much enjoied our Mangoinada, Piña Colada, and shot drinks, they were delicious!

Good place to come on a Saturday night. I like what they are doing, it gives people some easy and cheap entertainment. We laughed and enjoyed the imitator and mariachi. A message to the DJ and owner of the restaurant, get a sound engineer AKA turn it the F down a notch. The sound level is God awfull, it makes your ears ring, your head hurt and I wouldn't be surprised if you've blown out someone's ear drum. It's so loud and not in a good way.
