I originally came to this restaurant with my friend for a dinner wanting to try a different restaurant and then I brought my husband for a date night and we keep going back! We truly never knew italian food until we tried Gio's. Everything is so delicious and authentic. Tonight we had brusccheta, clams and muscles in a superb sauce, steak and seafood trio with lobster and clams and for dessert we had the tiramasu and homemade truffles with Gelato. There are no words to describe this fantastic food, cozy atmosphere and all the employees are so polite and lovely! Tonight we met Jessica who is so sweet we were so happy to find out the restaurant is family owned and operated. Chef Roberto makes the best Italian food in SoCal. We will be back for many more date nights!

Love this restaurant! Food is fantastic and the service is outstanding. Whenever we eat here, the staff makes us feel like family. They have an ever changing list of delicious specials, and the "house made" pasta is awesome. Bravo Gio Cucina!

This was me and my husband's first time here and were thoroughly happy with our experience from beginning to end! Laura and Pepe consistently checked on us, refilled our drinks, and made our first dining experience amazing! To top it off, the food was absolutely delicious and we would definitely come back.

Great service, delicious food, fantastic prices! Really enjoyed ourselves here. Pumpkin tortellini is fantastic. We really enjoyed sitting outside and having a bottle of wine with our dinner. From the outside you don't realize how pretty the inside is!

Seeing all the great reviews was a little bit disappointed with the quality of the food. I have ordered seafood pasta and my friend ordered pizza. My past was under-cooked and as i was just trying it, chef walked by and asked how it was, so i honestly said seems a big undercooked. He was very quick to say no problem and said will fix it. it came back hot and delicious, but how all the seafood (shrimp and octopus) was overcooked and unable to chew at all. But past was delicious :).My friend's past came out with no favor at all, she needed up having to put salt and pepper to have some kind of taste.Sadly wont be back

I almost hate to tell people about this place. I have lived near here for almost eight years and only last week discovered it thanks to Yelp. What an incredible experience. Very authentic to my experience in Napoli; and I don't say that lightly. Now, if you think it was one of the most rich tasting and fancy Italian restaurants in the Valley, then you haven't been to Napoli. This place is literally like the many amazing family owned cafes there. The menu is complimented by daily specials. The pasta was delicate and flavorful. The appetizers and wine list were perfectly suited for each other. The staff was friendly and made suggestions that were on the mark. I hope you enjoy it. But part of me wants to keep this our little secret. Don't go blabbing about it, okay?

We had dinner here last night and we're not impressed at all. We waited for at least 15 minutes to order drinks and had to flag down our server to do so. We did enjoy the bread but that's where it ended. We had Caesar salad the was completely tasteless with a very fishy dressing. We also had cauliflower soup which was fair at best, another salad, and some soup. For dinner I had the prawns which were covered in some awful spice that I can't pinpoint. We had the pawns with linguini and clams. Linguini was very undercooked and we had to send back. The pasta with bolognese was also only fair. Our other friend had the hangar steak which was not good. The patio is nothing special. Not impressed at all!

Awesome Family run Italian restaurant. Staff are super friendly and customer service is great. Pastas are a must try. Everything on the menu is customizable and they'll probably make anything you ask for! They also gave us some ice cream (passion, berry & coconut) on the house!!10/10 would recommend

My first visit to Gio Cucina was 30+ years ago. I loved the family vibe and being cared for in the same manner. Although owners have changed, I still have the same feeling and enjoy the same great menu items. A small unpretentious cucina that feels like home. My personal favorite is their pasta and fish. But you can't go wrong with any choice made.

Small upstairs restaurant. Food was very good- we had the tagliatelle "Jake" , Saltimboca, and cacio d'pepe. The pasta was all fresh made, with very nice sauces. Service was just right. The dinner was very enjoyable.Parking in front and in the back of the building.

Loved this! From the nice warm soft bread rolls to the black noodles, seafood pasta. This pasta was actually pure deliciousness! This was a delivery so I cannot speak to the restaurant ambiance or the service. I can say my food was very carefully packaged.I also had the Insalata Carciofini con Palmiti. Loved the dressing because it was not heavy and complimented the salad well. Next time, I plan to try the Insalata di Donna.A positive experience was had!
