Very nice place me and my family and my friends really search for authentic and nice place for going out we saw the good reviews about the place and we decide to give it a try and didn't be disappointed. Everything was been super delicious and the service has been fast so recommend the place.

House of Galbi. I'll tell you a bit about how I got here. Me and my girl were hungry, but as many nights, we could not decide what we wanna eat. my beautiful girlfriend offered let's have Korean BBQ. I said "im down". We found this spot in Korea town supposedly very very good. Then I gave my brother a call sharing our plans for that lovely evening (it was raining like hell). He told me "nono go to House of Galbi" It's in the valley and it's fire! He was right it was fire, from Our lovely waitress to the nice manger everything was yummy in my tummy, Our fav was the house marinated beef! So good. The salads were very good and fresh also! 5/5 I would come back here for sure

I absolutely love coming to House of Galbi. This really has to be one of the best KBBQ spots I have been to in all of the valley Best quality, great customer service, tasty food, and a precious short wait time.

Had I written this review a couple of weeks ago it would have been with five stars instead of one. Two weeks ago everything was done perfectly. The foods flavors and consistency was done to perfection. Sadly our return to the House of Galbi today March 29th for lunch was far less than exceptional it was closer to awful. We ordered a repeat of the fabulous Galbi and Bulgogi lunch special for slightly more than $45.00. This beautiful meal will feed two or even three people. It was so delicious and perfectly prepared the first time we were not ready for the inedible meal placed before us today. The Galbi, this is what the restaurant was named for was served almost raw. In checking a few pieces were between medium rare and rare. Hard to eat. The Bulgogi was stringy seemed to hang on to itself like a thread or string that ran from piece to piece three or four chunks of meat hanging a couple of inches apart. They were also tough to eat. When we stopped eating and just sat for a few minutes the waiter asked haw was the meal. We told the waiter whom we thought waited on us the first time as well and whom I congratulated and thanked for the amazing meal the first time how terrible it was this time and of course why we were so disappointed now. He said nothing and walked away. He brought us the check, we paid and left. No one said sorry or offered any type of explanation about the lunch I could hardly eat. Strangely we had put The House of Galbi on our calendar for a weekly lunch however after today's fiasco we will not be returning to this absolutely awful restaurant. If there were an option for zero stars I wouldn't have given this forty something dollar lunch any stars at all. Stay away as they are not consistent in what they serve.

Went here last night for dinner. They have two a.y.c.e options. We chose option b. Everything was good, we had galbi, brisket, marinated and spicy chicken, sausage, cheesy corn, squid, shrimp, and a few more. Sides were good as well. Only downside was the service, some servers were better than others. Also they kept trying to change our grill as soon as we cooked the food and the grill was filled with food. We normally go to a korean bbq in northridge, but overall everything here was good and I would go back if I were in the area and looking for korean bbq.

Enjoyed the food, the service is good, and great amount of parking with valet too, the overall bill was a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the food! I recommend being very hungry before getting there!!

Way too expensive. Robots brought me my food. Saw a waiter once. Not sure if i will be coming back. Not worth the price.

We came in, hoping to have the same eknderfexperience as the first time. Michelle sat at our table was not very friendly. Hardly greeted us and spoke perfect English as I come to find out. Mari was our waitress. Friendly enough I guess. English a little hard to understand but we made it work. . The good and ambience is still quite good other than that.

Stopped by here with a group of friends on Saturday 2/24/24 at 12pm and I was initially expecting the parking situation to be pretty bad for this side of town (Encino) but surprisingly, there were quite a few open parking spots inside their private parking lot. I did a quick eyeball but I think their lot can fit maybe 30 normal sized cars. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious--maybe a maximum of 40 people can fit at any given time. Each booth or table is fitted with a hooded range to suck the smoke up during cooking and they were widely spaced apart with plexiglass that separates one booth from the next. The nice thing about this particular restaurant, compared to other AYCE KBBQ restaurants is the ventilation and air conditioning, which is something I don't normally talk about when reviewing AYCE KBBQ spots. Most AYCE KBBQ spots have ventilation but you still smell the smoked meat aroma wafting through the air, which itself, isn't necessarily a bad thing but can become nauseating after grilling for a while. This spot is really well ventilated so the smoked meat aroma is only isolated to your specific booth or table. There are two price points: the $46.99 per person or $62.99 per person. The former offers what most other KBBQ spots offer and are generally the brisket, pork belly, regular and spicy varieties, plus bulgogi, spicy and regular, chicken, regular and marinated, chicken wings, squid, spare ribs and a few other things that I would consider 'sides' than cuts of meat. The other price option offered more rare cuts of meat so of that's your thing, it's available, but our group didn't care much for the rarer cuts of meat and stuck with the cheaper price option. The quality of meat is definitely decent. I would probably lump their quality of meat to something akin to Gen Korean BBQ or Road to Seoul KBBQ chain of restaurants in SoCal. None of the meat cuts that we received were gamey when cooked which is a plus in my books. Ambiance. It was kind of quiet when we had first arrived but when the late lunch crowd showed up, it got loud pretty quickly. Definitely a spot geared for large groups. Music played in the background and there were TV's tuned into sports on the walls. I think they had a full bar that serves alcohol though I could be mistaking it for a kitchen area. Service. Very friendly servers. Always came by our table periodically and made sure we had utensils, napkins, or more meat / banchans. They take credit cards. Enough said. Bathrooms are right at the entrance when you walk in to your left hand side. Pay attention to the signage because while the placards were large, the printed man and woman signs were pretty dark to make out. The space is kinda dim inside. That same entrance is a small narrow hallway that only goes in one direction with an oddly placed staircase to your right just before you hit the sign-in stand with notebook and pen and the front desk area. All in all, I like it enough to recommend this spot if I happen to be in this part of town again but otherwise, I'd rather opt for the marginally cheaper options closer to LA or further inland towards the Diamond Bar / Rowland Heights area for AYCE KBBQ.

Meh. Place is weird. Last call is almost an hour from closing, all of a sudden. Workers probably want to go home early. Didn't like the vibe of the young hostess either.
