I recently stopped by the IHOP in Encino and ordered the Spinach & Mushroom Omelette, which was very good. A nice perk is their current special: when you order an omelette, you also get unlimited pancakes — definitely a good value. I do think they need to expand their vegetarian options though, since right now there are only a couple of choices on the menu.
However, I was a little disappointed that the omelette doesn’t come with any bread or toast on the side, which was quite surprising.
The location itself is smaller than some other IHOPs I’ve been to, but the patio dining is pleasant and makes up for it. There’s also a free parking lot, which is really convenient. If you download the IHOP app, you can get a free breakfast item on your next visit, which is a nice bonus.
Service was excellent — my waitress, Thalia was extremely fast, attentive, and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a good spot for a hearty breakfast in Encino, especially if you enjoy omelettes and pancakes.

It was past 12:00 a.m. when I craved their food. It's been a while since I've been to any ihop so I came to dine in.
I ordered their chicken quesadilla and their version of it is different. It's not cheese, onions, and chicken like usually served somewhere else. But it's veggies,cheese, and chicken breast which tastes like chicken sausages.
I also ordered the seafood sampler which was good.

Count the pancakes in your order before you leave. They didn't give me the right number. Of course it was a pickup order so driving back would not be worth it.

Had a last minute catering order for very early morning. They were so helpful and so kind. Excellent service!!
I recently visited IHOP around 9:30 AM for breakfast, and had a great experience! My server, Lety, was super helpful and kind. She not only provided great service but also took the time to teach me how to earn points through the IHOP app. I really appreciated her patience and willingness to help. Great service !!!

Second time in 2 weeks and both times were good. They have definitely fixed the issue they had because I stopped going for a year due to burnt food and lackluster service and now 2 times in a row good service and good crepes not oily nor burnt.
