Came here looking for a nice lunch experience and wasn't disappointed. We ordered a salmon tartine (flatbread), a chicken salad, a matcha latte, a mint lemonade, and finished by splitting a French sweet cream doughnut. The food was great, the mint lemonade was as fresh as it gets, and is quite a decent amount, as they give you a carafe that is enough for 2.5 to 3 cups worth! The doughnut was also quite interesting, since the cream was fluffy and not too sweet! The interior is also very rustic feeling, with wooden tables and chairs. I'm deducting one star because once our waiter served us food, he pretty much forgot about us for a long time. I could see him walking towards our section, then just peeking in and leaving, repeatedly. We had finished our food and couldn't even find him to order the doughnut for dessert! Overall, we got ignored for 15 to 20 minutes, not the most fun of times, especially watching tables around us get served, checked out, etc. by the other servers...

Worst place and dirtiest place you will ever put your foot in I ordered a veggie avocado toast this morning which apparently got to me with some sort of meat on the plate that are not related to the dish and that im allergic to! since this kitchen is so dirty and the chefs are not capable to look what they are putting into people plates im finding myself sitting in the ER waiting to see what the damage that was causing to me. My laywer is already involved and i will keep wait for the restaurant respond

I love this place. I go out of my way to order gazpacho made perfectly. Their coffee is rich and tasty. I've ordered several of their preparations and was pleased w each one- omelettes, cereal, sandwiches or tartans - all yummy! I'll continue to frequent this place because it's clean, organic and so tasty! The pastries and dessert are exceptional too!

Perfect place to come on a rainy day for a big bowl of cafe au lait.I like to have the soft bolied eggs, they come with bread for dunking and a nice bowl of warm oatmeal.Today is a rainy day so it's even better. It is way more busy here than I recall. There is parking downstairs I think they validate a portion.

Great service, amazing workers, nice and wonderful atmosphere, but very poor taste of food. All came out bland,a little or almost no dressing in the salads that I ordered. Somebody need to taste the salad or the food they make before giving it to the customer. All I ate was a lot of arugula with little traces of dressing or salt. New York Le Pain Quotidien was 10 times more delicious and yummy. With nice memories of NY I came to taste the deliciousness and bum! Not even close in La in regards of taste and deliciousness. Please upgrade
I felt like I was transported to Paris. My meal was amazing, the decor sweet, and Katrina was attentive and caring. I usually stay in the Airport area but I will make an exception to ensure I get my delightful experience. Plus, the Almond Croissant was the best I ever had!
Every time I've eaten at this franchise, I've always been satisfied. It's my favorite breakfast place in San Fernando Valley, LA. The outside seating area is wide and great in nice weather. It is a place where you can go with your family and your guests with peace of mind.

Great place to come. Have a nice brunch. I was here in the afternoon and sat outside in the patio. I felt that the flatbread with cheese needed a salad on the aide to balance the ham and cheese with the bread. Since i had from my other diahes, it worked out. I also received my croissant cold. Warm would have been better and more enjoyable to eat. Im not sure if they expect me to ask, but since I don't work there, asking that question to clients wouldn't hurt.Besides that, i would go back again completely recommended.

The first and only time I went to Le Pain was at the topanga village about 5-6 years ago. I always thought they didn't have anything "special" but it was pricey. A friend suggested to meet at the encino location so we did. Food/drinks 4/5Ordered the grilled chicken Cobb salad and she ordered the black lentil salad with smoked salmon. I got an Arnold Palmer and she got a matcha latte. I really enjoyed the salad. It was nourishing, filling, and overall yummy! The Arnold Palmer came in a pitcher and tasted more like lemonade than iced tea but I still liked it! Ambiance 5/5They have indoor/outdoor seating. I sat inside as it was a hot day in October. Only a few tables were taken and it seemed like a peaceful place to spend a few hours meeting friends or working. Price 4/5 I think prices are fairly high but the food seemed higher quality so I guess that justifies the price? Lol we each paid about $30. Service 5/5 Andrea was our server. She was sweet, attentive, and patient. I chose my salad based on her rec and was not disappointed. Although they close @5, we were there til 5:30 and she did not say anything! She was so sweet about it! Overall 4/5 I would come back again!
