This sushi restaurant serves the highest quality and most delicious sushi every time my wife and I eat here. The consistency of the taste and quality of the fish is easily a 10 out of 10. Okumura has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I first ate there when it was still the owner chef and his wife attending to customers. The food is great and well thought out. We always have the salmon skin salad and the surprise we had was with the amberjack carpaccio. I will order that again.
If you’re looking for a fresh, authentic, local sushi place to dine in or takeout, this is the place to go! The seafood is always fresh and prepared well, would recommend getting the miso and shishito peppers for appetizer. The house salad is very yummy too. They have a wide variety of Japanese beer and saki. Great service and welcoming staff.
