We had a terrible experience at Pialoon Restaurant. I went there with a group of 8 people. I was supposed to pay $60 per person, which comes out to $480. Even with the 20% service fee, the total should’ve been $576. But the manager, Eli, charged me $720! I asked her for a receipt, and she refused to give it to me. She was so rude and mean about it, too.
I’ve heard she always adds extra charges without explaining anything. The service was also horrible. It was a Saturday night, and they only had 2 or 3 servers trying to take care of around 130 people. Everything was super slow, the servers were unprofessional, and it was just a mess overall. I definitely don’t recommend this place and won’t be going back.

If the total came up short, we would cover the rest. However, as we were leaving, Eli asked me, “Are you paying the $1500 in cash or card?” I calmly explained that this wasn’t what we had agreed on, and instead of discussing it respectfully, she began yelling, using rude language, and eventually asked us to leave the restaurant.
If it had truly been a misunderstanding, no professional owner would act that way over $100. It felt like she was trying to push boundaries to see if we would just pay without question.
There were only two servers for nearly 100 guests, and service was slow and chaotic. The last Saturday, I had attended another event at the same restaurant hosted by a friend. A server rudely approached me in front of my friend and said they had the right to refuse service — completely unprovoked. That same night, a tray of coffee was spilled on a guest, and instead of apologizing, it turned into a loud argument right in the dining area.
This place lacks professionalism, courtesy, and basic hospitality. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at Pialoon Restaurant. We ordered two plates of koobideh Kabob, and even though a 20% tip was already included, they charged us an extra $20 without any explanation. I later heard the same thing happened to some of my friends.
There were only two servers for around 100 guests, and the food service was extremely slow.
The management , Eli, was rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend this place at all and will definitely not be returning.

I truly don’t like leaving negative reviews, but our experience here was extremely disappointing, and if I could leave no stars, I would. We had a confirmed reservation for a party of 30 at 8:00 PM. Shockingly, it took 3 hours before anyone came to take our order, and only after I personally flagged down the waitress, who casually told me they were “extremely busy.” If the restaurant cannot properly staff for a large party, they shouldn’t accept the reservation.
We didn’t receive our food until 11:45 PM, and even then, some dishes were inedible, and several orders arrived much later than others. The appetizers were underwhelming, the salad wasn’t fresh, and the tomatoes were soft and wilted.
Overall, this was a very frustrating and unpleasant dining experience. Both the food and service were unacceptable. I hope the management seriously reconsiders how they handle large parties in the future. Not worth going!

If I’m going to spend this much money, I’d rather support a business that actually values its customers. I won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

this place is a joke. we made dinner reservation 3 months in advance for 20 people for an event the restaurant mentioned they are hosting. the restaurant cancelled the event 1 week prior to the event, so we called to cancel our dinner reservation. But instead of canceling our reservation the owner's wife was going off bad mouthing the event director and their staff, which had nothing to do with us... when we told the owner's wife we dont know what she is talking about and we just called to cancel our reservation, she started to raise her voice and bad mouth the event staff even more. we dont recommend making dinner reservations here, this place is unstable and lacks professionalism, we told the same to all of our guests and they agreed. we hope the owner's wife understood to cancel our dinner reservations, because we reserved at another more professional establishment...
This owner replies they had nothing to do with “the program” but they “donated” their restaurant to them! Then the owner writes she doesn’t recall bad mouthing anyone, and then starts to bad mouth some director! She admits not hosting any event for us, then says we are connected! Can you imagine all the grief one has to go through to just cancel a reservation, what a mistake we made. We ate here once last year. It’s a hookah lounge. Food quality is sub-par. They have no alcohol license and they tell people to bring your own alcohol, is this even legal? Make sure you take a good look at your bill, our friends say its known for hidden charges. Place is shady, stay away.

This venue was intimate in the best way possible, and the music was exceptional. Great song choices that brought back so many memories over the years. It made the night memorable. Thank you so much for a wonderful new year celebration. We had such a great time, the atmosphere was electrifying.
