When I order Chinese dishes, I say no bell peppers of any kind, or onions of any kind, these are fillers, what used to cost $12, is now $18 and with a whole lot of bell peppers and onions.

Unbelievable food. This place is a hidden gem. And CBS executives & TV show directors cant get enough of this restaurant. The Pheonix Buns are Outstanding. The seafood is scrumptious! I mean it is Totally Fabulous. Wonderful Chefs. I personally give it a 10 star super rating.

I live around the corner and the food was cold when I grabbed the bag I got home within five minutes. Ordered a dish with chicken and they put shrimp and chicken. Spent a good amount of money on for dishes and everything was flavorless and the chicken was undercooked. Never ever again

Christmas and Chinese food has been a tradition for who knows but it is the thing to do especially for members of the 12 Tribes aka Jews. I'm pretty secular and have celebrated Christmas probably more than Hanukkah so it's not really a tradition for me normally. Tonight was different because I spent the day with my close friend and he likes Chinese good on Christmas. But he wanted cheap buffet doughnut/Chinese food place because he offered to pay. We get there and it's got a long line, buffet was slim pickings and there wasn't an option to order a la carte. He decided to accept my offer of paying for my own meal but go somewhere decent. I am a yelper so I did my thing and found the closest place that was open and wasn't a buffet. Yelp is an amazing resource and it came through once again because this place is solid. Really nice menu, all the usual dishes including my personal favorite Sweet and Pungent Shrimp, just enough batter to give texture and a sauce that tastes likes it's name if done right. I have been to many a Chinese restaurant with sweet and pungent shrimp or a dish named Chefs special crispy Royal shrimp or whatever name they come up with if it says lightly batter sweet and anything but sour sauce then it's their version of my beloved dish. It's not a house special, it's just a regular Chinese American shrimp dish that is special just because it's so tasty but not because it's complicated or unique to a particular restaurant so that was my tell. Prices are fair considering it's Ventura Blvd and Encino which means high rent even with the discount Covid brought by shelling out all that "free" money. Paid better to be unemployed so no wonder prices went up and that is that. Time to move on and that's exactly what this nice spot did. I say yes to the food and prices because quality food is money well spent. Invest in your future, eat from fresh cooked food to order. This isn't as cheap as McDonald's of chinese food ye olde Panda Express but it's easily twice good and costs less than twice what you would pay for that stuff, sorry just not a big fan of big boys and chains. Come home, go to a place that cooks the old fashioned way, putting love into their food is what makes the difference.

I've ordered from here a handful of times and I'm never disappointed! So fresh and so clean! War wonton and egg flower soup, sweet and pungent chicken and chow fun was our choice for tonight and there were absolutely no regrets! Great job Ping Pong!

I come here often.. I am moving out of state soon and I will definitely miss this place. Only because the tangerine chicken is delicious. However there are a few things I didn't like. I don't like walking in and seeing a man prepping the edamame with no gloves. I don't like that they charge too much for veggie fried rice.. and I don't like the wine I bought was 15 dollars for a glass and I didn't know until After I ordered it. But the tangerine chicken is tasty.. so is the veggie fried rice. I love the ambiance as well. You know it's a good Chinese restaurant when the weird fish are in the front

We just don't like the Chinese restaurants that are closest to our house in Calabasas. I have heard that Ping Pong is very good. We opted for the 15 minute drive to Encino to see for ourselves, and it was well worth the drive. The food is very good! The restaurant has a current Chinese restaurant decor, which is what I like. It's not dark, dingy, and dated. The only downside was the service. It's seemed as though the kitchen may have been backed up. Two of our three dishes came out on time, while the third one didn't come out until 10 minutes later. The woman across from our table was upset, as well, with the timing of her food. I'll definitely be back! Hopefully the service issue was a rare occurrence.

The best Chinese I've had here in LA. The tangerine beef is so good! I just went here on Christmas and had to grab it to go, but man I forgot how good it was. The sweet staff are always so kind and very fast.

Found this restaurant while searching Yelp for a Chinese restaurant that would take reservations on Christmas. So glad we found this place. The food was delicious (all of the dim sum was great, loved the chow mein and hot & sour soup, and we enjoyed several shrimp dishes). And it was delivered surprisingly quickly, despite the large number of takeout orders the kitchen was churning out. The ambience was great too, with the TV tuned to a pretty Christmas scene. Definitely recommend (just be sure to specify if you want a small portion, because they will bring you a large without asking.)
