PLEASE READ THIS...They hired me as hostess, but then I realised they hired me because one the staff members was going on a 2 week vacation.Sadaf( the owner) did her job well, in the most cruel way. She gave me a contract and etc. So everything goes according to law.But then every day in the two weeks I was there they made up fake calls to order food, I took the orders correctly and the fake person ordering called the restaurant and said I tool the order wrong, I had those fake calls about 10 times in 2 weeks. Or the made mistakes and blamed it on me.This was the way for them to get rid of me, because it was time for that staff member to come back from vacation. And they kicked me out. This is cruel. The staff member made fun of me, I don't know why maybe it was a part of their plan so I would give up instead of them kicking me out.If I were you I would never go to a place with such owner. But I believe that karma will get her, she will go down.

Sadaf, overall, is a nice place. I went for dinner (I did go pretty late) with my family. First of all, parking is $7—valet or self park—which is honestly ridiculous. The area isn’t even very posh or anything, so the $7 is useless. Anyway, we got an appetizer that never showed up and two entrees. They don’t need reservations for parties under five, so we just did a walk in. They were able to seat us because we went not even an hour before closing. Immediately, we were helped and a waiter took our orders. He was very nice and conversational (pretty sure his name was Hamed). Due to our rather late arrival, he had to put in our orders al at the same time (appetizers and entrees), which meant that they’d come around the same time and not in the typical appetizer, entree fashion (which was fine). So apparently they didn’t put in the order for the appetizer, which is why they gave us hummus and yogurt on the house. I wasn’t too hungry anyway, so it’s okay; we were alright with the fact that the full order didn’t go through (it’s fine, we’re all human). Anyway, the two entrees we got were the cornish hen and the Sadaf #4, which contained lamb, juicy chicken which we swapped out for chicken koobideh, and salmon. The food was good, but nothing special. The lamb was a little hard, chewy, and kinda bland, but it was edible. The salmon was also bland. The chicken koobideh was pretty good though. The cornish hen was also okay. They gave us a salad (which I didn’t try, but the rest of my party said was good). We also got complimentary bread and butter at the beginning of our meal, but it was cold (as was the rest of our food actually). Overall, this place is pretty nice. The ambience is good, but it’s nothing special. The food is mediocre, as is the service. It’s a nice place to go if you’re in the mood for some casual. Our server alone makes me want to bump up the rating to 3.5, but since I cannot do that here and I’m rating the place not the person, I’ve rounded down. If you choose to come here, I’m sure you’ll like it decently, as I did, but in my opinion, it’s rather mediocre.Parking: Paid; ridiculous (read my review, as I addressed it there).

The food was really good. I ordered the combination Lula and the portion was huge! The restaurant is charming and they had a small band playing Friday night. We will definitely be back

I had very high expectations before visiting for the first time on a Sunday. They were out of eggplant unfortunately. Expect to pay$7 right away for parking. The stews however were some of the best I had.Parking: The staff are very helpful and attentive.

We ordered the tadig and salad to start. then food In the middle of eating, a couple came with 3 kids which the two children were screaming all the time. After ten minutes, I shouted, madam, this is your private salon. Calm down your kids. I was shaking from anger. All of a sudden, the manager came and suggested them to change the table. They said no, we are more comfortable here!!!! The stupid manager told us, so you change your table. I said: We are in the middle of eating, their food is not ready yet!!! He said they like to be at their table, so you should change your table. I said, is this a zoo? You can't expect more from an Illiterate Rude Iranian manager. The food was good, but not at that price...I won't go unless to make sure, they threw stupid manager out.

Food is super expensive and not fresh. Service is poor. This used to be our go to place for Persian food. But no more.

Title Manager

Food is inconsistent. They tell you they care about customer service but it is not genuine. Take out food is neglected because they know you are not there at the restaurant to get them do the right thing.

This is not one of my favorite places to eat I just wish it was closer so I could eat there more often. I kind of hate it haven't paid $7 to park in the back it was better than trying to find parking on the street. The hostess was welcoming, the service was outstanding, and I really loved the food. I have the Persian princess drink it was very good and then I tried their sampler which had three different types of stew. That was a great way to get a taste of what they have to offer. Shrimp and mushroom appetizer what's fantastic. With drinks and tips for two people it was almost $150 so it's not cheap but it is worth it.

Sadaf is one of our favorite Persian cuisines in LA! I love getting the naderi soltani as it is one of the more tender options for filet mignon! I will say that the food is good, but the main reason we love coming here is for the excellent service we receive each and every time without a miss. Sandra Amir and Kuroush have been here for a long time taking care of us and make sure we leave with our stomachs fool and smiles on our faces! Thank you to the wonderful team at Sadaf! They are lucky to have you!

I consistently enjoy wonderful experiences at this restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly courteous and professional. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate the quality of the food.I'd like to extend a huge thank you to Shohre, Yalda, and Neda for always being so accommodating, helping me with various needs and requests, whether it's ordering in advance for pickup or dining in.During my last visit, Kourosh served as our waiter and did an outstanding job, making our experience particularly pleasant. It's my top choice for Persian cuisine without a doubt!
