I've enjoyed Subway for *decades* but for the first time ever I received a sandwich that was just nowhere near the Subway standards from the store at 16226 Ventura Blvd, Encino, CA 91436. The bread was shockingly old, dry, and stale and they should not have sold it. On top of that, the cashier, who had substantial difficulty with communication, tried to overcharge my wife... twice! First by double the correct amount and then by $5.00 over the correct amount. In all fairness, she asked her coworker for help but he ignored her. There's another Subway a couple of miles west at 17261 Ventura Blvd, Encino, CA 91316. It's probably worth the drive up the street to a Subway location where they always seem to care about what they serve. I'll still eat at Subway but definitely not from the store at 16226 Ventura Blvd.

Very disappointed with this place. I place my order at 11:30 am said it would be ready by 12pm. When I arrived at 12:10pm my subway wasn't ready and didn't even bother to tell me until I notice to let me now they did not have my subway ready. Its very frustrating had to go back from my lunch with no food. I hope they can update their system soon.

Vegetarian options: They have a veggie patty sandwich; or you can get the veggie delight sandwich without the patty, which I think is the better option. I don't get the patty anymore because I'm not sure of the ingredients.

It's hard to order because no one speaks English. I find myself getting easy sandwiches that I don't really want because they don't

I PLACED AN ORDER 05/31/22 AT 1:00 PM SPICY ITALIAN SANDWHICH.I PICKED UP THE ORDER, I GOT BREAD WITH ONLY MAYO AND MUSTARD ON IT.I RETURNED TO GET IT FIXED.... NOT ONLY WAS I HUMILATED BY THE GUY THAT IS WORKING THERE YELLING AT ME TO GET MY SANDWHICH ON MY OWN NEXT TIME BUT TO TRY AND CHARGE ME FOR A WHOLE NEW SANDWHICH. THE TOMATO IS SUPER OLD THERE WAS FLIES EVERYWHERE IN THE STORE.WORT CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DISGUSTING LOCATION.

Once upon a time, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, high school graduate, 17 year old Fred DeLuca, opened "Pete's Super Submarine." In thirty years it has grown to become 42,000 eateries called SUBWAY.For years, when I was traveling, Subway was an easy place to get a vegan meal. While this is still true, they have downplayed the healthy vegan options. The employees, I've spoken with, have no idea what is vegan on their menu. However, the internet does.Their selection of sandwiches and salads has grown. Each is custom-made, in front of you, using the vegetables and proteins the customer requests.I ordered the vegan Italian roll with a selection of veggies, peppers, olives, vinegar, and olive oil. It's a sandwich I have enjoyed for years.Prices are inexpensive. Service is quick. While the selection has been limited, this is still a good place to get a vegan sandwich.Everything's wheelchair accessible. Limited inside seating. Masks are required. Parking is free.
