From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere, beautiful décor, and the sound of the live band instantly transported me back home to Lebanon. The mezze was fresh and flavorful, the grilled meats were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the portions were generous. Great food, staff, amazing singers, musician, and dancer. There is also a dance floor to Debka. Our family of 4 enjoyed the Mediterranean atmosphere and hospitality of the staff. We can hardly wait to go back with family and friends.

The only thing that's keeping this place open is that they keep selling to another owner. The new owners keep failing to change the food. For the past 10-15 years, it's the same exact, greasy cold and stale food. They also are very sti gy about the amount of food and appetizers they put on yhe table. Every time I come her (not by choice) it's the same old boring entertainment and same old nasty food. People who come here eat the food because they have to, they eventually become hungry, and anything is better than nothing, especiallywhen drinking. Please be sure you won't receive any food here that's worth anything. There is another similar establishment that's up the street and has similar entertainment but way better food.

WOW!!! I'm blown away by the transformation at the Gate since the new owner took over! The food is now out of this world, that my middle eastern mom approves of, haha! Their dishes are both delicious and visually appealing. They have definitely raised the quality of their food and added the most delicious fries I've ever tasted!
But it's not just the food that's impressive - the entertainment is top-notch too! From live music (from actual famous singers) to belly dancers and even a DJ, there's always something fun happening at this restaurant on the weekends. They play English, Arabic, and Armenian music mostly. Grab a hooka from them and have fun!!!
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great vibe and of course the staff are friendly, attentive, and the service makes you feel like you're the superstar!
The new owner has clearly put their heart and soul into revitalizing this restaurant, and it shows. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu with my friends and family!
