For the past 10-15 years, it's the same exact, greasy cold and stale food. They also are very sti gy about the amount of food and appetizers they put on yhe table. Every time I come her (not by choice) it's the same old boring entertainment and same old nasty food. People who come here eat the food because they have to, they eventually become hungry, and anything is better than nothing, especiallywhen drinking. Please be sure you won't receive any food here that's worth anything. There is another similar establishment that's up the street and has similar entertainment but way better food.

WOW!!! I'm blown away by the transformation at the Gate since the new owner took over! The food is now out of this world, that my middle eastern mom approves of, haha! Their dishes are both delicious and visually appealing. They have definitely raised the quality of their food and added the most delicious fries I've ever tasted!
But it's not just the food that's impressive - the entertainment is top-notch too! From live music (from actual famous singers) to belly dancers and even a DJ, there's always something fun happening at this restaurant on the weekends. They play English, Arabic, and Armenian music mostly. Grab a hooka from them and have fun!!!
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great vibe and of course the staff are friendly, attentive, and the service makes you feel like you're the superstar!
The new owner has clearly put their heart and soul into revitalizing this restaurant, and it shows. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu with my friends and family!

The Gate is always a wonderful night out experi nice. Great food, hookah, and drinks. The portions are very nice and definitely tasty. Live singer and DJ were very entertaining as well!!

Amazing food, terrific and super friendly service. Pro-tip: Fridays and Saturdays the place features professional entertainment from headliners from the Middle East. The show starts at 9p, so nobody —and I mean NOBODY— shows up before 830p those evenings. Except us. Naively, we went there Saturday evening a bit after 730p. We were literally the first and only patrons in this cavernous venue. The place is large and not intimate. We initially thought the restaurant —which looks and occasionally operates as a dining hall— was booked for a private event later the evening. Wrong. The staff kindly humored us and prepared a feast. Around 830, folks started to appear. We had other commitments so unfortunately we had to leave before the entertainment started. We'll be back another weekend evening. At 9.
I had a horrible experience here. First off there seems to be a lack of care for the guests. And I was disresepcted and met with a rude response so many times when inquiring about the food. I also noticed this place overworks their employees. They have 1 busser serving over 300 guests. That is Labor Abuse and should be reported to the City Labor board. They also have their worker lifting heavy trays with 20 plates on it. I think the owner is greedy and trying to cut costs by not having more workers but this is Labor abuse. They seem to not care about their workers or customers. It's all about how much money they can make which is extremely self centered. I also heard a girl was SA here by one of the owners. Report this place for Labor Abuse and have them looked into for the way they are running their business. They need to be held accountable. If you treat people unfairly and harrass them it comes back to you. Maybe start treating other people better instead of just thinking of yourself and how much money you make. People are starting to notice how you treat your customers and employees. Maybe the food wouldn't take so long if you had more bussers. I get you are trying to cut costs but you are overworking your staff and that's not right. Do better and remember. Treat others how you want to be treated. That's the golden rule which you business seems to not follow.
