First off, let me say that my sourdough bagel was delicious and the young person who served it was polite and friendly. I’m very sorry to say anything negative! My issue is that so much butter was added to the bagel that it leaked through the second bag I was given (after asking for a replacement because the first bag also had butter smudged all over it and got on my purse)…got back to my car and had butter all over my pants! Perhaps management could just remind the lovely people preparing food that heaps of butter are probably not necessary and that clothes can be ruined this way. Many thanks…

There’s two people in line and they give me the wrong order. Really?

Employees also need to be asked to change/put on their gloves after going in the back. Should not need to be asked by the customer to practice basic hygiene.

The food is good and the employees are nice. Ordering there is fine and it usually doesn’t take too long. However, something is wrong with their mobile order system. I waited over 30 minutes for my order in the shop even though I got a notification saying it was ready. None of the employees were coming over to help us even though there was a line of people waiting to pick up their mobile order. When I finally got my order it was completely wrong. Someone fixed it for me and was really nice about it but the wait time was kind of ridiculous.

What an absolute mess. No idea if it was because it was Mother’s Day or if this is how it usually is but it was utter chaos. No one telling customers where to go. Nobody lining up. Nothing ready when it was supposed to be.

The food was fine. I’ve had worse bagels. But I don’t know if I’d go back. Not worth the hassle.

I just ordered 2 lox bagels traditional style and the girl got it all wrong! I am so mad about this. I loved this place but the last 3 times my order was wrong and I was already home. I asked twice for the person serving to check my order is correct and they got it wrong everytime. On this occasion, the girl not only got it wrong but she wrote it down and still messed up. She added egg to a lox sandwich!!! With no cream cheese!!!!!! ? the avocado was a sliver that look like it was smeared on from leftovers.!!! I can be reasonable and understanding but this takes the cake!!! Plus charging me a ridiculous amount to get my orders wrong. I will stick with the Van Nuys one. UGH!!!!!!!! GO TO EINSTEIN in Woodland Hills.

Amber, the manager with blue hair, is extremely rude with a horrible attitude. I walked in and smiled waiting to be helped and the second she approached me she was so rude and spoke to me like I owed her something, which felt belittling. Although she was rude I was still nice to her when ordering saying "please" and "thank you," but her behavior was getting more aggressive for no reason. She was also very slow and seemed miserable when making my sandwich and when I realized she was making it wrong l asked her about it because I have never seen other locations make the sandwich like that. Her response was "That's not how it works here!" Once again, very aggressively. I asked if she can put the missing ingredients in my sandwich and instead she wrapped them in foil and just threw it in the bag. Not only was she rude to me and other customers, but she was also rude to her own employees. By the time it came to paying I was already fed up with her attitude and couldn't wait to leave. I asked for her name, and again, her response was aggressive, almost like she was mocking me. Interestingly, the corporate phone number was on the bag, so I spoke to them because that type of behavior is unacceptable. It doesn't take a lot of energy to be nice! Safe to say I won't be back.

My daughter walked in today and was helped by Amber, the manager with blue hair. Amber was extremely rude with a disgusting attitude from the very second she walked in. We always loved other western bagel locations and were greeted very nicely, but everytime we come to the Encino location Amber's behavior is always unacceptable and the way she acted today was my last straw. She even turned and got mad at her employee in front of all the customers. If thats how she treats them in front of customers, I can't imagine how rude she is when no ones there. Shes extremely unprofessional to be so called "the manager" and spoke to corperate about her behavior.

Please don't make your employees come in sick, the poor employee that helped me, had glossy eyes and as reaching for my bagels SNEEZED and had to excuse herself. She washed up right there in the public kitchen. You could tell she was not comfortable and of course not good for public either, if someone is not feeling well, don't make them come in, yikes! Be kind to your employees and understand when someone is not well, for not just the employee but the public as well,

Who makes a lox bagel without the lox?! Why is the coffee ALWAYS burnt? I've had matzos with more moisture than that prepacked hockey puck of a muffin I recieved. And why even bother asking if you want the bagel toasted if you never actually toast them? They aren't worth the hassel and definitely not worth the money. Just go to literally any other bagel shop. This location is an utter disaster.
