I recently visited Lumberyard Cellars during a local shopping event, and it was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with plenty of room for everyone to mingle both inside the tasting room and out into the spacious parking lot area. Live music by Jamie Byous added a wonderful energy—his set perfectly complemented the evening and created an inviting community vibe.
The food truck on-site was a hit, serving generous portions of gourmet mac and cheese in a variety of creative flavors—comfort food at its best! Inside, the tasting room offered a great selection of wines, but the standout for me was their red blend, which was absolutely phenomenal: smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced.
What really stood out was the friendly, down-to-earth feel of both the staff and guests. Everyone seemed to be having a genuinely good time, whether they were wine tasting, enjoying the music, or chatting with new friends. Lumberyard Cellars is a true gem in Escalon—warm, welcoming, and the kind of place you look forward to returning to again and again.

Pleasantly surprised to find this gem in the middle of Escalon. Wines are flavorful and exciting. The place sets a relaxed and cozy vibe for enjoying wine made from grapes sourced from various areas in and around the Valley.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been to Lumberyard Cellars many times, and every visit is such a treat! Even though I’m not a big wine drinker, I always enjoy myself here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and when they bring in food trucks it makes the experience even better. I’ve also attended a couple of private parties, and the space makes a truly beautiful venue. The couple who owns it are absolutely wonderful—it feels great to support such a kind family and their small business. Highly recommend stopping by!

I love stopping by here for a drink or two. They have a wine tasting menu which is always great to try a variety of different wines, or you can buy individual glasses or bottles. It's a really cute and relaxing place to go to decompress and the owners are lovely.

Cute wine bar, sangria was excellent. They also have some small bite options, there is not a full meal menu though. This is more of an after dinner or before place. Staff was nice, and there was plenty of parking. It's in the old hardware store building, they did an awesome job renovating it. Very nice & cozy. There was lots of seating to accommodate a small or large group.

Lumberyard Cellars is a wonderful place to have an event. They hosted my daughters bridal shower and Megan was so helpful with my niece and sister in coordinating the event. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, food was delicious and the wine and sangria were amazing! Everyone had a great time, especially the bride to be!Thank you so much for a wonderful day and we will definitely be back.

Finally got an opportunity to go here with my coworkers after work one Fri. We had a reservation, which was a good thing, the place was busy! Everyone kinda did their own thing, but we ordered two charcuterie boards to split at the table and they were beautiful. The little tiny pickles-magical. Pure magical. And the tiny little smoked mozzarella balls....are you kidding me?! Devine.I did the flight tasting and the gentleman who was taking care of our table was like a ninja. He was ready with the next wine before I even put the glass down?The whole experience was excellent. Looking forward to having a reason to return!
