First time going to Cafe Lafayette. I was very impressed with the exceptional service we received and the great vibe it gives off. The food was outstanding too. I ordered off the specials and got a salad with ribeye steak bites and mozzarella cheese in it. The portion size was generous and the steak bites were tender. Delicious 😋 This place is great for special occasions or if you just want a more upscale meal. Plus, you're supporting our local downtown businesses.
The food, cocktails (especially their Espresso Martini) and ambiance are what I crave after a crazy busy week. I especially love that you can sit at the bar and order and have a drink or two if you’d like a bit more privacy. They have finely crafted cocktails and gorgeous outdoor seating. I love it!
Nice place to eat french food in the valley. Glad to have a departure from the normal choices. Our server Chris was very attentive and hospitable! The atmosphere was simple but warm. The prices were high but expected. The food was underwhelming not only because of the high quality reputation of the restaurant but for the prices. I had the baked brie to start and the rosemary overpowered the cheese. The french onion soup, an annual favorite of mine, had too much bread, not enough...
