Do not eat here!!! The server/owner took my order and didn’t write it down correctly. As I was telling her about how I said no onions she proceeded to reprimand me in front of others. I couldn’t even tell her that it was cold as the cheese wasn’t melted and eggs were cold. Not at all customer friendly and you clearly can she she had no business etiquette much less food service experience training.
Food was delicious, almost better than most Mexican restaurants I’ve been too.
Service was incredible! Lady was super helpful.

It's a good sized, nice looking and clean restaurant with a small bar on the side. The decor is a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant. I asked and apparently it used to be a Huckleberries. It took a little while for me to realize it though, so it's not offputting.
I felt a bit bad because I was the only customer in the restaurant for about half an hour until a man sat at the bar. The waiter almost looked a little surprised that somebody walked in. Granted, it's a random Wednesday evening so I didn't expect it to be packed, but come on, Exeter, this place was good!
I had the Enchiladas La Cabaña with shrimp and mushrooms with a white sauce, rice and beans on the side. They were excellent as was the service. I don't come to Exeter often, but when I do come this way again, I will come back. You all should give it a try!

We had dinner in house with a group of four and stayed for drinks. All four of us agreed, that the food tasted exceptionally delicious! The portions were too big for us to manage, so you won't go hungry. We all shared fried peppers as a starter and those were HOT.

My wife and I were in the mood to try out a new place. She had driven past here many times and was curious, so we gave it a try.
The place was VERY clean and well maintained with clean bathrooms. However, for the majority of our dinner we were the only ones in the restaurant, which was slightly off-putting, but that's not really the restaurants fault.
We decided to split an appetizer and entree - for $16, the quesabirria was DELICIOUS. Among the best we've had. We then split the 2-enchilada plate, green sauce and asada for the meat. This, too, was very good, though not necessarily something I would say I MUST have again or anything. But it was very good.
The only let down in our dinner was our dessert - we got the ice cream and church's. For $13 I sort of expected a home-made style churro and high quality ice cream. Instead the churros were very hard and only a little warm, and the ice cream had a bunch of actual ice chunks that had formed in it. Its not that it was that bad, but not worth $13.
Overall we enjoyed the food and the restaurant was clean and well maintained, and I would definitely get the quesabirria if I was in the area and craving mexican food.

Great food cold drinks I'll be back
I definitely do not recommend this place. We were the only ones there, they didn't ask what drinks we wanted.A second table sat down and they took their drink order before us. The ladies were spazzing out like if they had a full house. The salsa and shredded beef had nooo flavor. Very blan. And be aware if you ask for more chips they charge you which they did not mention. Way Over priced for flavorless food. Alejandras in town is 1,000 times better for sure. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be worth it but we gave it a shot. If the food was great I would not give a bad review but it was hiiiiiighly disappointing. Boo.
super friendly awesome menu, and prices are from$10-$20 and their chips and salsa is delicious I ordered a chili verde burrito food qas out fast and hot, is was excellent! will definitely come back soon
I got the chimichanga and it didn’t come with rice and beans the drinks were $4.69 with only one refill and the food was very average. There was two of us and the bill was $62!!
