Fantastic atmosphere – a live jazz clarinet player, soft twinkle lights, tasty food, and so much more! There’s a great selection of wines and other drinks. I tried the camemberg burger, which was delicious.

Really good food and drinks! Love the atmosphere! (Is kinda hot inside tho during summer). Very friendly owner! I like that she makes a presence and comes over and asks how you are!

We stumbled upon Monet’s after a day of hiking in the parks. What a treat! Incredible food and wine after taking a great recommendation from the lovely waitress. Live music helped set the atmosphere - we felt like we’d just stepped into a local wine bar from the streets of Paris! All the staff were so lovely and the owner, Jennifer, gave us fantastic local recommendations on where to go in Sequoia which ended up being the highlight of our trip! Couldn’t recommend more!

We dined in sitting outdoor on a hot summer day. The biggest issue was that there were flies outside like crazy touching every piece of our food. The restaurant certainly knew about this but still offered outdoor dining and did nothing about it. Plus, we got broccoli as the side dishes for a salmon plate but the broccoli is frozen product that wasn't fresh and had no texture at all. It is very sad that they offer frozen vegetables for a dish that is 30 or 40 dollars.

Jennifer the owner is an amazing host. Food was delicious. Mixed wines for our table. We couldn't decide on a desert so she gave us half of an order of our top two the salted caramel chocolate tart and the almond raspberry tart very delicious. Will definitely go back

Amazing vibes - live jazz clarinet player, twinkle lights, delicious eats and more! If you enjoy wine, there’s an extensive wine and drinks list! I enjoyed the fig burger and we loved hearing people’s birthdays being celebrated through live jazz.

Great little wine bar. Nice wine and food choices. Wished we were more hungry when we went. The lavender brie appetizer is delightful as was the crème brûlée. We would definitely be regulars if we lived near this little gem.

By far the best European restaurant I’ve eaten at in the US. And that’s coming from a European.

Monet’s has a cozy neighborhood feel. The sound of a jazz musician playing standards on clarinet added to the appeal. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were offered multiple small tastes of the owners’ favorite wines from lesser known boutique wineries. And the opportunity to pair with our lobster appetizer and the chicken cordon bleu. The homemade bread was crisp and tender. The risotto was sublime. The wine regions conversation with Jennifer was elucidating. We only need a personal helicopter to return often from our home in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Merci! Merci!

Monet's is amazing. The service is always great. We like to dress up and it makes the little place seem way more fancy. The live music is nice, not too loud and always just the right vibe.

A place slightly off the road to Sequoia Park in a small town in the middle of orange groves which does not lack charm (painted walls, etc.). Sympathetically Franco-American atmosphere with a menu with the same reflection. The dishes are hearty, goutrux and very affordable. The wine list is extensive, and the “testing” is very professional and friendly. In fact, just like the service (5*) everything is perfect!!
