This little hidden Mexican joint has been been a local spot for decades, and due to its unique location its likely been driven past by nearly every Fallbrookian countless times either on their way out of town or heading back in. So I finally decided to pull over and try it for the first time recently. Went with a carne asada burrito figuring that would be a safe choice, but to my dissapointment it was very chewy and had this almost ground up texture, which was less than awesome. So tried again last week with some fish tacos this time and was much better. And while I'm still a bit skeptical over the carne asada debacle (as that should be a safe go to at any Mexican place worth their salsa), I'm willing to at least keep trying something new there every now and then.

People may review that they have good prices here but they up charge for everything. If you ask for a jalapeño or if you ask for chips and salsa you’re shelling out 3 to 5 dollars for that and that’s absolutely ridiculous. It’s the only restaurant I’ve been to that charges for chips and salsa. This place has a lot of potential but trying to squeeze every dollar out of the customer is not a good business plan IMO.

Nice people, good portions, decent food. Definitely not the best in town but everything seemed fresh enough. The burgers are good. The Mexican is hit or miss. Small amount of indoor seating and a very nice amount of outdoor. Food took a good while to come out. Prices are good!

I love this place. Late bloomer to finally try and we have been back 3x. Everything has been great. Love the atmosphere, food, and kind workers, patrons. Thank you for the consistency, the correct menu prices, happy hour specials, and accurate hours!! Several restaurants in town should follow suit!

2nd time to this restaurant. Love the rustic vibe outside. The staff were all super friendly. Unfortunately large trucks were parked in front of the disabled parking blocking it, But not using it. I hate to say it but the food was gross.
. The rice was undercooked and crunchy, the beans tasted like beef and the tortillas of my enchilada were so chewy they couldn't be cut with a fork and knife. I brought it all home for my dogs and even using a ultra sharp kitchen
knife I could barely cut the enchilada into equal pieces for my dogs.

I will have to go back and try a burrito or tacos. The place was busy and the parking lot full so the food must be typically better than this experience!

Food was great! We had Chili Relleno and Fish tacos. Wonderful! Prices good, great price on beer. Small place, very populated. (Needs better bathrooms.)

Love El Parque. The food, service, and atmosphere are all great. Rustic in a good way. Outside dining overlooks Live Oak Park. It's been there for the entire twenty five years I have lived in Fallbrook. Be careful getting out of the parking lot, curvy road both ways and traffic.

Food is okay here depending on what you get. Thus, the three stars. I would really like to give it a lower score for the service and this goes more for the owner and management. The restaurant always seems to be busy but understaffed. Orders can take long, up to 30 minutes or more. What really grinds my gears is when ordering for multiple people in a party and they bring out your food at different times. On multiple occasions a party member was done with his food when they finally broutht out another plate. We order together to dine in together, and eat together! And not have our food brought out at separate times. Please take this as positive feedback to make improvements.

Good food very casual. Nice to sit outside. There is some road noise from being so close to major roadway. Small indoor eating area also quite rustic.

This is a little Mexican restaurant in Fallbrook. Main items are Mexican food, but they also have other items like burgers and fish and chips. They have 14 beers on tap plus bottles and 3 different wine labels to choose from.
Been there quite a few times and everything I’ve had has been good. They have a happy hour Monday- Friday with $1 off beer and wine and $5 food items.
Good size portions and great prices. They do a good takeout business and parking lot is full many evenings.
Not much inside seating but lots of tables outside. They have fans and heaters. Parking is tight. They have a small gravel parking lot that gets full but there is parking across the street when the park is open.
Place is both pet and kid friendly. 😁
Great food and service, loved the fish tacos!!
We decided to check this place out after spending some time at the park across the street, the name just seemed fitting. We chose to sit outside and found a secluded table toward the far end of the property. Unfortunately, not long after we sat down, we were swarmed by a group of kids, six little ones running back and forth past our table, spitting and dragging a dog around, while their parents wined and dined several feet away.
On top of that, the food was stale and the wine wasn’t much better. Overall, it just wasn’t the vibe we were hoping for.
