We enjoyed our barbecue lunch here today. We appreciated the generous portions. The kids meal came with 2 ribs and an 8-ounce side. My 6-year-old actually ate all the Mac & Cheese and a little pulled pork. My 16-year-old and I shared the 2-meat meal with ribs and pulled pork (as well as the ribs from the kids meal). It was all delicious and we had a little pulled pork left over. We chose to sit inside, but tables are also available outside.

tasty barbecue! ?brisket was juicy, well marbled, plastic knife & fork tender.
sauces were great original was smooth tomato based bbq sauce
sweet was a little thicker with little more tang
the hot was flavorful spicy with a great kick
they all mixed well n paired great with the meat ?
slaw was very crisp and refreshing ?
mac & cheese was very creamy, cheesy cheddar with spiral pasta ? filled you up great
served with a fluffy dinner roll
make sure to get a novelty soda ? i got a creme soda to match the atmosphere ?

This place is bomb!!!!! The food was so fresh and the meat so soft. Its a cute spot, with Both inside and outside seating. This place is delicious, I can not wait to go back for more. By the way Service was quick and super nice.

Small local spot with really good barbecue. Inside is a little tight with only a handful of tables, but there were a few other picnic tables just outside for extra space. Service was great, the woman working the counter was courteous and brought out our food outside to us when it was ready.
The top dog for me and my wife were the sides actually. The beans and coleslaw were excellent. Beans had a hint of sweetness with smokiness right alongside. Coleslaw was traditional in taste, fresh and crunchy, and not at all sweet or mushy. Mac and cheese was good, but just average in our opinion. Regarding the meats we had, flavor and seasoning were absolutely on point. Having the sauce on the side was perfect so you can add (or not add) as much as you would like. We got ribs, brisket, and a tri-tip sandwich. The biggest drawback was that the brisket and tri-tip were a bit overcooked and dry. Not enough to ruin them, but enough to notice and wish they were just a bit more juicy. The ribs were super tender and fell right off the bone without being dry at all. Overall, I would definitely stop here again and would 100% recommend them to friends and family. If the smell of smoke doesn't convince you to stop by and try a plate, hopefully my pictures do!
Parking: Smaller paved parking lot but large dirt lot right next door.

Food was great but customer service wasn’t the greatest and the restaurant itself self was humid and warm.
No restroom working. No place to dine in inside. Hot, windy, full of flies outside. Not welcoming. For what i ate, expensive and not that tasty. I came for the reviews, but these reviews don’t represent reality on my view.

Getting to eat here is always a special treat. Our go to is the rib sandwich with Mac and cheese. The food is wonderful.
So next time you’re stuck in that horrible traffic jam on the 15. Just hop off at the Pala exit and go past the truck stop.
You won’t regret it. That traffic is crazy!
Needs a trash can outside for diners to throw trash away.
