This places has the best menudo in town. Very authentic, and flavourful. It reminds me of home. It is like traveling in time and space.
After spending over 15 dollars per person, Do not order additional chips because they will charge you $1 plus tax.
Update as of Feb 21, 2026 - Inflation hit hard. Their burritos are now about 25% smaller. Their chips are now $2 plus tax (100% price increase). Food is still good, but prices are out of control.

This place is tough to beat if you like cheap Mexican food. The atmosphere is very fun if you like old taco joints. The carne asada burritos and tacos are very good and it’s a great place to drop in for a quick lunch if you are driving thru or vacationing in Fallbrook.

I called this restaurant on behalf of my job to ask about catering a 15 person event and they were incredibly flexible, accommodating and kind. When I went to pick up the food, the staff was so helpful and the food packaging was thoughtful and easy to handle, and food was delicious. I recommend this place for anyone looking for good authentic Mexican food and great service.

Terrible food that was salty and had no flavor, nothing just very bland. Also, a taco isn't a taquito fyi so you're wrong. The only good thing with the combo plate was the Mexican Cola.
