Robertito's Mexican Food

For many years this was our drive thru go to for good Mexican food. I made my last trip there today.Besides a large price increase the food was non edible & order was completely wrong.My sweet guy at the drive thru is long gone & person did not speak English who took my order; if he did he completely left out salsa & gave me the wrong items even when I repeated & asked again at window.I always tipped in the past.Last time ordered a chicken quesadilla which was literally in 1 inch of grease that spilled everywhere & went straight in the trash.Today burrito dry & my other plate was swimming in grease.Asked for an order of flour T. got corn & asked for fried Jalapeños got the pickled ones. Again $35 worth of food in the trash.No salsa as I politely asked and he said they were in bag.There was no line at lunch & I know why.

I did try again last week, no line again. My favorite nice guy at the window was back! I ordered two burritos and they were very good!
I hope this continues!

Asked em for a chorizo breakfast burrito. That thing was life-alternating, straight up transcendental. Staff was dope. I will always stop here when I visit my folks in Fallbrook.

Chicken chicken chicken. This restaurant's the Chicken Burrito is full fill by chicken chicken chicken. I ordered it as to go. That is tasty if it isn't hot. The only weakpoint is you must pay only cash.

Worth!

Simple great Mexican food. Beans are a high standard. Portions are fantastic, salsas are great and flavorful. Carne Asada fries are the is my go to.
