Not sure this place has high reviews. The food was subpar, burger was bland and super greasy. Liked the home made ketchup, potato wedges(forgot what you called them), pickle was good but overall, appetizer and burger were 1/5 stars. 12 dollars for 5 small meatballs is crazy. For the future consumers add like 3 more meatballs or and a bit of seasoning in those burgers. (Idc if you get upset this is why they let us leave reviews)

Coal Bunker is always a go to when needing someone else to cook. The food and service is so consistent. The food is ridiculously good. You can play menu Roulette (close your eyes and randomly point to an item) and it will be the most delicious thing imagineable. The scratch made cooking is what sets this establishment apart. Everything taste so fresh. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's perfect for a quick bite, long conversation with a few drinks or just to order and take home when you need a quiet night. They also give back to the community. I often see the owners hanging out around the baseball fields running the snack bars and that makes me really happy.

Food is good đ servers are friendly, able to explain the menu and attentive. Has a comfy family atmosphere but I could see myself going for a relaxed date night as well. Nacho appetizer hit the spot lol! Wedge salad was delicious. Friends and family were also happy with their food. We'll go again and I would also take visiting family as well. (Have been for lunch & dinner. My groups have been 4-5 people but each time I've been there I have seen them accommodate larger groups)

Also, they really support the community so itâs a win-win! The restaurant is in a cool historic building in downtown Fallbrook with cool train history too, so itâs a great vibe. Plus they have a great kids menu. Whether you live in fallbrook or are just passing thru, coalBunker wonât disappoint.

This place is one of the few places in town that I consistently go back to. The service is always great. The food is delicious every single time. There are many dishes to choose from that will entice your taste buds. Everything is so clean and inviting. Always a go to for my family! We love Coal Bunker, keep up the great work.

If you check Google and see they are closed CHECK THE HOURS OF OPERATION before moving on to another spot. We saw they open at 4pm and we just happened to be in the area and the timing worked out well. Anyways, itâs a really cool spot! Very different vibe than most places, but cool! The food we ordered was good too! I got the bunker burger with mac. The loaded potato skins were great too! Friendly service. Itâs a Monday as I write this and we were here right at 4pm, but this place definitely deserves more people knowing about it and being here based on our experience. If you read this far, you think too much, just go to the Coal Bunker already!
