It was the worst food we eaten. The food was cold, the sushi tasted like it was made 2 hours before. Misa soup was watered down, no taste. We'll never go back. We came out of feeling a little sick.😝😝😝

Last night we went to Yumi Sushi, a restaurant we used to visit often. Unfortunately, we’ve decided we won’t be going back anymore.

The service was very slow, and no one came to check on us to ask how the food was or if we needed refills. The baked roll we ordered was undercooked, and the fried appetizer was overcooked and tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in a long time.

After we got home, we both had stomach issues. The food quality is not as good as it used to be.

Sadly, we won’t be returning. We would recommend Yama Sushi instead.

Great rolls, garlic edamame and bento boxes. Service was off when we came. For a non-busy period we kept asking the same waitress for the same items over and over but never got our soy sauce plates, or wasabi/ginger, until well after our rolls arrived. I would get takeout but would not dine in again.

I’ve eaten here about 10 times now and each time there is something wrong. Sushi is great, everything else taste like microwaved frozen food. The ramen is 100% a pack of cheap noodles with powder broth mixed with water. When I order pickup they don’t bother to look at special instructions. I’ve been given a single napkin multiple times. Service in the restaurant is slow. 10+ minutes to get waters and drinks. Which sucks because I prefer their sushi over Yama in town.

My hubby and I both gave this place a try and we were not disappointed! They have a great staff that is very friendly and welcoming. The sushi rolls and hot food we ordered were so fresh and flavorful. Definitely our new sushi spot in town ❤️

NEVER AGAIN. I'm not sure if there has been a change in staff, but I'll never order from here again. This used to be my #1 sushi place. Tonight was disgusting. I spent $50 on crap. I ordered 2 spicy tuna rolls, a salad and a crunch roll. The salad was ALL bitter greens, the dressing tasted like applesauce and onions and the tuna was fishy. The kicker was the 2 spicy tuna rolls were in one container. They were for 2 different people not dining together. If it was just one thing, I wouldn't even be writing this but my whole dinner was inedible. $50 in the trash. A sad waste of food.

Ordered a pick up order online, we ordered 4 rolls and the staff saw it fit to combin rolls into one container. I guess people are sharing containers now and spicey sause is now on both rolls. 1 star effort = 1 star review. For the price the service is trash.

Update: gave this place a second try, this time I dined in. I like their selection. I also like that they have siracha at the table. I ordered 3 rolls and they came out quick. The rice was very thin / lite on the rolls causing almost every peice to come apart when I picked it up. More rice would of held it together better and would of been more filling. The spicy mayo had a really wierd sour flavor to it. Almost like the mayo had gone bad. Now for these reasons i wouldnt recomend ordering out or dinning in here. Quality of the food for the price does not make sense.

A salad should not go through you in three hours. I had stomach cramps and diarrhea for half the night. The portions were good but the ginger was dried out and hard, the teriyaki beef bowl had no teriyaki flavor that I could tell. The servers were having a long personal conversation one table away that we could easily hear. Our female server kept picking up her phone from the next table and playing with it. The sushi was good and the portions were decent but we won’t be back. The place was empty, And BTW, only “low sodium” soy sauce.

Not too shabby for being in a strip mall in a small town. Very enjoyable and good bang for your buck. Staff is always sweet and friendly
