To say this place surprised me is an understatement. Often in the Central Valley it is hard to find great or even good Salvadoran food. Needless to say they make fantastic pupusas and would recommend to anyone in the surrounding areas.

I have never had El Salvador cuisine before. The food was delicious and the owner was warm and made us feel welcome. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Vegetarian options: Besides the cheese all of my lunch was vegan. Corn Tamales were delicious!!

This place rarely answers phone to place order ahead. Frustrating because they don't care. The main guy would rather just sit down and relax, lazy!

Fantastic, authentic, home made pupisas, cabbage salad, sweet corn tamales, plantains and more. Love the revuelta and the loroco flour in particular. Great balance of cheese to flour. Have also tried the chile rellenos and enjoyed them. Been coming here for 20+ years and enjoy all the food made by the family.

These are not real pupusas. They're comparable to the pupusas in Vallarta. The repollo was not so good. The salsa tasted like it came from a cab. The pupusas were so greasy and mostly cheese. I placed a phone order and they got my order wrong. I got there and it was very busy. There were a couple customers there and almost every table needed to be cleaned up. The guy up front was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Go to Zamora Taqueria in Fresno.

This is a first that I was very disappointed and disgusted. I used to always eat here. My husband bought 10 of the pupusas. As I was eating and cooling them down for my kids I found a bug . Yes a BUG in my pupusa . Not only was I in shocked but I was disgusted. I couldn’t go back because they were closed by the time that I found the bug. This is sad because this used to be my go to place.

The pupusas were good, not too greasy. I'm not sure if it was chicharron or other type of meat (revueltas). I couldn't really find the meat in the pupusas ( see picture). The rice was bland and the beans were watery. Like others have said, the curtido had an interesting smell and dry. The staff seemed nice and friendly. The restaurant looked very clean. Make sure to ask for receipt and double check the prices and the total. A little pricey: one combo and 4 pupusas, one drink for about $39.
