“I usually take a stop here for brunch on my way to Yosemite.
Though the name has Waffle in it, I always go for their omelettes and they are really good. Especially, the ham and cheese, and cougar.”

“Absolutely love coming here when my husband and I can. We used to go fairly often when they were located in Oakdale and were surprised when we came to visit in Escalon after almost 2 years and the server remembered us. Delicious food, great staff. I usually get the tekka maki or spicy tuna roll and my husband gets the sashimi, as well as a bottle of the cloudy sake. Bonus, he's allergic to shellfish and has never had a reaction there from cross contamination.”

“Love this place. Husband and wife duo. They are very sweet and serve yummy sushi rolls. We always take to go. We normally go at least once every two weeks.our favorite are the volcano and tai rolls. Great prices and great food.”

“I have made portuguese sweetbread for many years, due to my age,I purchased two loaves of sweetbread for New Years to have with portuguese pickled pork. The sweetbread was heavenly and will return for sweetbread regularly. Definitely would recommend to anyone desiring authentic delicious sweetbread. Betty Alcorn”

“I've been eating this Krispy krunchy Chicken since 2019 when I was driving truck in the Bay Area. As long as you get it fresh and hot it's good stuff to eat. The chicken sandwiches were really good though a lot of places don't sell them no more. And they had used to have a sauce called boom boom sauce cuz they don't sell anymore it was a hot spicy sauce that was really great. They started to bring the franchise towards the valley where I reside and it's hit and miss around Stockton California. There's a place down on Thornton Road that sells it nice and hot all the time and there's a place on Center and Park Street that sells it the full variety with the biscuits. There's a place on Waterloo a little gas station that sells it also but they hold back I guess they only make enough for the day because they have the option that whatever they don't sell you can buy cold chicken and what they called Snap bags you can buy them with food stamps. I would highly suggest that anybody that likes Fried Chicken try this chicken hot and fresh but like anything else a lot of fried chicken will clog up your arteries so you moderation in anything you do”

I had 2 tacos and the carnitas were so moist and flavorful. I’m very picky about carnitas, they were not dry, too salty or greasy/fatty. They were simply divine. I’m having my hubby stop tomorrow and get me a burrito.They should deliver to CHCF stockton which is down the road. They would make a killing!!!!”

“The Carne Asada is delicious, juicy, flavor, cooked perfectly. I had the nachos, torta de Asada and Chile Colorado. The Asada here is by far the best I've had. Ample room to sit and enjoy a good meal, that is authentic and has that home cooked meal feel to it.”

“This place is fun. The food was great and the atmosphere fun but the staff was a bit off. We ordered extra ranch and paid for it, but they only had part of the order. They said they'd bring it out, once it was prepared but we had to ask multiple times to get it. Our pizza was gone by the time it was ready and we had to go get it.. If the place had been busy, I would have understood but it was a very slow night.”

“At this point I'm pretty much a regular. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere and welcoming clientele keep me coming back. The bar itself has a mostly wooden interior & feels like a proper dive bar. It's got alcohol, a jukebox, pool table & free wifi... What else do u need? 5/5 will visit again”
