Twice we have tried to order 15 minutes and 10 minutes before their sunset special ends. Each time they have told us we couldn't order it, as it was too close to the cut off time. Then advertise the cut off time for 15 minutes earlier! Not wanting to argue with the waitress, I asked to speak to a manager and I was directed to a bar stool, where a woman with long blond hair was drinking and didn't even bother to turn around and speak with me. Instead she directed the server addressing her from the front of the bar that she needed to tell me it was too close to the cut off time. Also, they charge a credit card transaction fee. Fine, not a problem, if they would at least remove it when someone pays cash! Of the six or seven times I paid cash, they only removed the fee ONCE without having me remind them to do so. It's really evident that the bar is where they want to make their money. Last time I was there, I was embarrassed as my wife and I sat in the main restaurant, hearing cuss words all the way from the bar, I hadn't heard since attending a Raider game in the mid 80's. There are a lot of nice restaurants around. Save yourself the aggravation!

Friendly neighborhood place with good food. Great deal for early eats but either way, we enjoy very much!

The Club Sandwich (lunch special) and chicken tenders & fries (kid's menu) are the best we've had. The red snapper sandwich was a bit bland for me. Overall, the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and service great.

Such a great lunch! HIGHLY recommend the crab cakes and clam chowder! Delicious French fries and the red snapper sandwich was so fresh and tasty. Kids menu is a little limited, but she was still happy!

Good food, good service, nice place. The salmon was delicious and so was the mai tai. They also have draft beers.

Google reviews brought us to the Empire grille, and those reviews were spot on. This restaurant is clean and organized, even the bathroom. All of our food was very reasonably priced, served hot, and delicious. Our waitress was amazing!!!!! I'll be back.

My experience with my girlfriend and friend wasn't much pleasant my girlfriend and friend think they were being a little racist towards us like they don't like or appreciate tourists or new people they only help the people they know left us blank for a while.. besides that they got all our orders wrong and twice not just once apart from that the burger once it was made correctly the 3rd time it was great but also for the price not so good i get its felton but fancier places are cheaper even heading to sausalito , customer service was very boof sorry will not go there again appreciate the burger thank you

I've been here 3-4 times total now. Every time they used quality ingredients and prepared the food very well. Service also excellent. It's an unpretentious place - not a white-tablecloth place - but that was fine by me. If you're looking novelty, this may not be for you - it's mostly diner fare. But it's done right. It's now a regular stop for us.

We order & shared the chicken fried, it was so undercooked that we could not even cut through it with a steak knife. It was that tough. Waitress gave us an alternative so we ordered the coconut shrimp that we’ve had many times there, we each picked up one shrimp, and looked at each other, and the shrimp was not even cooked through. at this point, we didn’t really know what to say to the waitress, but we did let her know. We couldn’t eat the shrimp because it was not thoroughly cooked. It was still raw. She did give us a bit of an attitude by saying oh you guys. it’s too bad we still love coming here the food used to be great. Don’t know why they can’t cook their food completely through to where it’s not raw.

A friend took my family here: we'd gone walking in the redwoods nearby. This is now our go to place when in town (we were displaced by the Camp Fire so been looking for a new mountain community to get the pining for pines out)

Great place, our charming waiter juggled tables and the bar, and the cole slaw is just how I like it. Every one enjoyed their sandwiches, including a fresh tasting salmon with crab dish.Editing after 2nd visit:Still great, fresh tasting ingredients done better than I expect from similar places.
