I love this coffee spot. Everything ive ordered has been perfect. No complaints. Ive had shepherds pie x2, horchata latte, white chocolate mocha, tea, and more. Super friendly atmosphere and from my experience quick service and respectful/polite.

Great place run by lovely local people. Bring some time, they make each drink individually and with care leading to wait times if there are a few guests coming in at the same time. Board games available, which is a nice touch. The “Rocket Fuel” coffee blend wakes me up like nothing else.

The breakfast croissant sandwiches were huge and so delicious. Coffee and smoothies were both 10 out of 10.

Everything about Mountain Roasting is amazing! The atmosphere, the food, the drunks, and the people. We make a point of going here every time we are in town. If we lived closer, I'd meet up with friends and play board games and spend some serious time here. Great coffee!!!

I used to love this place and looked forward to getting breakfast sandwiches from here. The service was slow and was one order at a time, but it had a personal old time service and quality that I liked and it felt nostalgic. Then new owners came, and it just kinda sucks now. The pastries all seam like frozen stuff from Costco or some other business supplier, and every time I've went im pretty sure the bagels were from the day prior (very limited selection). Im pretty sure they microwave the bagels for the breakfast sandwiches because they are always kinda wet and slimey because of it. There's limited ingredients available now too. I used to really enjoy some spinach in my sandwich. They have it in a quiche tho, but none for sandwiches? Ok, so i assume they dint make the quiche either. I just don't feel like this place has anything to offer. Like, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here anymore. Nor do I stop when passing by anymore. I tried it multiple times just hoping it was a fluke. Ohhhh, that the previous bagels were so much better. The Jalapeno was tip notch. That changed too

My daughter and I love going to Mountain Roasting in Felton whether we stay or get it to go. We are always greeted with smiles and hellos and immediate service. The food choices are great, the coffee is delicious, and we appreciate the fact that it is super clean. They even have games for us to play while we hang.

There are a ton of seating options and the owners are so nice and just overall rad people who have created the best neighborhood spot. They let my daughter name their plant, and always have stickers or goodies for her. We can't say enough good things!

In Felton for the weekend and Mountain Roasting become an immediate go-to. They’re open early, the bagels and pastries are wonderful, and the staff is friendly and so helpful. The coffee was amazing and they have solid alternative for non-coffee drinking friends. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is an outstanding family-owned coffee shop and diner! The food is unique, original, and full of heart — including a chicken enchilada recipe passed down through generations. I loved it so much that I came four days in a row while finishing the final edits of a book I’m publishing. The people here are simply amazing — kind, thoughtful, and always serving with genuine hospitality. The food, coffee, and service are all top-notch. Hats off to Yvonne, Jason, Brianna, and the entire team for creating such a welcoming place. Absolutely love this spot! 🎉

The new owners are amazing and they have created a wonderful environment to hangout and play games. The drinks are on point and they have so much to choose from. The food is also amazing they have a wide variety of pastries, bagels, sandwiches, and toast. One of our favorites is the SOS biscuits and gravy which is a special on the weekend.

Good coffee, but poor service.

We walked in and weren’t greeted or acknowledged, even though there was only one other customer inside. Three baristas were behind the counter, and it took over 5 minutes for anyone to take our order. When they finally did, the girl who helped us was rude and seemed annoyed, as if we were bothering her.

Overall, the vibe just wasn’t welcoming.

Despite the awkward service, the coffee and bagel were actually good. But good food isn’t enough to make up for bad energy. We won’t be coming back.

I got the hot dirty chai and it was so so good. At first when my lips touched the lid, the drink was sweet and chai tasting, but as it went down my esophagus it tasted more like coffee with a dark nutty taste. And the aftertaste was splendid. The service was great. Sad I’m leaving Santa Cruz, cause I’ll never get to have this again.
